Disappointments with both Dockers item and Gold Box policy.....

The color was not true to what showed on the computer, and my husband finds the fit a bit snug in the arms over a long sleeved Tee. Biggest problem was the stickiness of the metal zipper, we really had to work on it to get it to zip and unzip with even partial smoothness. Not up to what we expect from Dockers brand at all, BUT....when I went to exchange it I found out that the Gold Box deals are NOT exchangeable at the Gold Box price, even if there was a problem with the item itself; to exhange it would have meant paying full normal price! Now THAT is an eye-opener, and we will keep that in mind in the future when we consider whether or not to purchase Gold Box specials.

Zipper is small and does not slide easy and I would not expect it to hold up

Zipper is small and does not slide easy and I would not expect it to hold up.
I am returning it.
Also the jacket does not have any pockets.

Highly recommend

This review is regarding the style, overall fit, and material. I have a slender build (160 lb, 5"11) and often times have problems with tops being too wide at the base, giving off the unnecessary fabric "bulge". This zip was built slim and fit perfectly in that regard. The material is very soft and comfortable, definitely one you can wear for a long day. I found myself naturally reaching for pockets that are not there so that was a tad annoying but can easily adjust to. I've had troubles with the zip style in the past where the raised collar hits me in the chin whenever I look to the side. This jacket did not have that issue as the sides of the collar sit relatively flat.

I ended up having to return and exchange for a L as I have long arms and the sleeves were a tad too short. For non-gorilla armed men, this should fit wonderfully. I look forward to when the L arrives so I can add this piece to my collection. I will review the L once it arrives.

I chose to ignore the other reviews about the zipper and I wish I hadn't. The zipper literally won't move. Can't even put the shirt on. I expected that for a reputable brand, it would be better but this is the worst zipper I have ever come across. Returning it immediately. On the plus side, the material is nice.

Nice Looking Jacket, Cheap Zipper

Fits great, but I think the zipper is somewhat cheap and I'm not sure how long it'll last. I bought this on Prime Day for my husband, so I'm glad I got it at a cheaper price - I wouldn't buy it at it's regular price.

I found this great jacket on Amazon kinda by accident

Wow, A new French Terry Jacket from Dockers. I found this great jacket on Amazon kinda by accident, I was just browsing the isles looking for some new shorts when this popped up on my screen and it was love, and the color was great. The best part of it was Amazon promised me I would get my order today and low and behold it was there. An order meant to be! Seriously, My new Terry cloth jacket is really nice. It is 100% cotton, and that makes it feel nice to wear as well as looks good. My only negative and it's a minor one, is that it is a snug fit, I ordered a size larger than I normally wear and it is just right. So beware, but enjoy.

It's a great lightweight top

It's a great lightweight top, but it does run smaller than indicated. I'm a medium usually but I should have bought the large in this item. otherwise it's a great jacket.
