Not for the 30- (or 40) something crowd

This just didn't live up to expectations. It's not as plush and thick as the picture suggests, the seat is already worn after only two weeks and the seat back has a tendency to bend and is too short, cutting off at mid back (not the back of the head like the girl in the photo), and I'm only 5'7" so it did not give the support I was looking for. I think this would be great for children and young adults, but for anyone over thirty, it is not a good fit as either a gaming or home theater chair. It is better than sitting on the floor, however...

Looks great, feels okay, breaks quickly

It was comfortable enough, but my wife and I both agree that the cheaper "Fully Adjustable Five-Position Multiangle Chair" that we bought on Amazon is better.

Even without getting much use (none of it rough) I noticed the stitching had begun ripping between the little fluffy parts. It didn't appear defective on arrival, it actually looked VERY nice. I was really excited until I sat on it.

I wound up mailing this back today. If you've got kids or you're having parties I can't imagine this thing will last. In retrospect I would've taken a photo of the defectiveness to attach to this review but I decided to write this on a whim (sorry!)

If you are looking for a chair to meet your temporary needs than this might be the chair for you, but the price is a little steep considering. The quality of the chair is pretty bad and it's very fragile. We had it one day (no kids) and there is already a tear in the seat. That isn't very acceptable for a 100$ chair. Good thing we were only planning on using it for a couple months before we move or else we would be kind of mad that we have to use duct tape on a brand new chair. Buyer beware!

Legs get numb

Can't sit in this chair longer then an hour - legs and butt get numb, changing back angle doesn't help. Padding in reality is not as thick as it appears on the picture. It is better then my previous floor chair which didn't have any padding at all, but still it was a 100$. I think the problem is that the padding is way too soft and provides no support whatsoever, making it essentially non- existent.

Fabric completely falling apart after 3 months of use.

Update (1/10/16): After using this chair daily for gaming for a couple months, the material covering the chair began ripping at the seams where the squares are sewn on the front. The fiberfill that gave the seat its cushion began coming out all over the place, and is pretty much gone at this point. The only good part of the chair left is the frame, which is basically like the frame of a lawn chair, so it is essentially useless, unless you have sewing experience and want to replace the cover. Even sewing it myself, it would cost me about the same to fix it as it would to just buy a new (better) chair. At this point, I would not recommend purchasing this chair.

I initially received this chair at a discount for my honest, unbiased review; obviously, that has not influenced my opinion or rating in any way.

I've been looking for a game chair for a while now. I had a bean bag chair, but after a couple months, the beans got squashed, and it's just no good anymore. I don't want to have to keep replacing beans, so I decided to look for something else. That's when I found this chair, and figured I'd give it a try. The internal structure/frame seems pretty sturdy. Once I get it adjusted to the right angle, I usually prop the back up against the bed, but it will still hold me comfortably without being propped up. The foam insert is a little thin at the bottom, and I can still feel the floor, but not in an overly uncomfortable way. One issue I've noticed is that the foam on the inside is a plastic type foam that will probably also get squished over time. The material covering the chair is actually a bit plushy...it feels like a short-napped fleece, not the smooth fabric I was expecting. The cover itself is padded as well, and it unzips, allowing you access to the inside and to remove it for washing.

Bad idea to order a comfort item online. While the adjustability worked fine, it's extremely cheaply made – scant amounts of lightweight polyester batting over a hard base. When you sit on it, you go right to the bottom. I bought it to relax on in our little tent trailer, but it was so hard that it was cutting off circulation to my backsides. I stopped trying to use it after the first few days and donated it to the first thrift shop we saw, And even if I had been home, I doubt I would've tried to return it. The thing is far too bulky to make it worth paying the shipping back for a refund. I think we did better taking a tax deduction .

Perhaps it would be fine for lightweight kids, but I am an adult and it simply lacked the padding to support me (135 lbs) If they'd filled it with crushed foam, it would've been ever so much better, too.

Easy set up

Ordered this for my nephew and he loves it. Easy set up, seems to be made out of good sturdy materials and he said it was very comfortable to sleep on. He's having a lot of fun with it and saving the $20 by buying it on amazon instead of buying it at the local Walmart was the best part! Even if we had to wait a few days to get it.

Great chair, but color was wrong. There was a bit of a confusion as to which one to get. I wanted red, but the one pictured red said "rose pink" and the one pictured pink stated "red" as the color. I cannot remember which one I chose and my order details does not state which one I ordered, but I got the bring pink one. Not horrible, but really wanted the red one. I will be ordering more because my kids love them for both sitting in front of the fireplace and playing video games in front of the tv.
