I was looking for a storm trooper mask for my 5 year old son for his birthday (LOVES STORM TROOPERS) but didn't buy any online due to the poor reviews. He saw this one in store about a week later and we decided to go ahead and get it, and he loves this thing!

I wanted to go ahead and address some of the complaints that I've seen from other reviewers, so if someone else is considering this product they won't have the same hesitations I did.

1. SIZING: Yes, this is mask is for a child. My son has a nice big head, is 5 years old and he has never complained about it. The back adjusts with a velcro strap in the back that so far has been very secure.

2. FLIMSY PLASTIC: When someone says,"the plastic is flimsy" I'm thinking that it's going to be like a disposable, tear at the first sign of stress plastic. This is NOT that. It's not as thick as some of the other masks that we've purchased, but I actually think that this is much better. It's less heavy, so it's more comfortable to wear, and doesn't block his vision.

My favorite thing about this mask is his visibility! The open eye holes are awesome and they go wide enough that my son still has his peripheral vision and isn't accidentally knocking into things or people. He plays in it very comfortably, and is having a ton of fun.

These are child-sized masks. Ordered 2 and unbeknownst to me they are tiny. The description does not say anything about them being child sized at the time of this review.
