A great Ariat boot

I love this boot so much I have it in all three colors, but really, the distressed brown is my favorite. I always get comments on them when I wear that color. Also, I agree with everyone else. These are so comfortable to wear you hardly know you have them on. Great arch support!!!! I also think they are very well made. Durable. I think they run a little large. I wear an 8.5 and had to order an 8. If you're not sure, go to a store that sells Ariat and just try a pair on to determine what size you are. If you want to gamble, go with your normal size.

Great Boots!

I had trouble getting these boots on initially, but with thin socks, I not only got them on, but wore them for hours. Now, after 3 or 4 wearings, I'm able to wear them with slightly thicker socks. I don't know how Ariat does it, but the support in the footbed is so good, that I'm not aware I'm even wearing them. I completely forget about my feet! I now own 6 pairs of Ariats from clogs to cowboy boots to English riding boots. I've yet to be disappointed.

These boots are very comfortable right out of the box. Good fit. No stiffness or "breaking in" time. I did spray them with waterproofing.

I am happy I did

I don't have small calves, there is no problem here. I bought the wide width because sometimes shoes are tight and need stretching to wear, I figured it couldn't hurt to go wide. I am happy I did. I can wear thicker socks and do. I was concerned that I would have to wear these on a limited basis, but that technology in the sole is the real thing. I can walk around & stand on these things for hours. That was a very pleasant surprise to me. I wear these with jeans and love the look, it is exactly what I was looking for.

Great Boots - Size Up

These are really great boots that can take a beating. I wear 8.5 or 9, and I went with the 8.5. If I bought again I'd buy a 9. They were all over very snug at first but formed to my foot after only a couple wears. I do have a high arch, and that's the only part that still is snug. I only notice when I'm puling them on and off, which is why I should have gone with a half size up. I also cannot wear these with very thick socks, so if you want to do so size up.

Once worn in, they become awesome boots!

These boots are wonderful looking. They have taken a bit to wear in...I have had them for a number of months, and initially I had to take them off after a couple of hours. At first, my feet would get sore and tired when I wore the boots. They were stiff and hard to move around in... but as the months have passed, the boots have definitely improved in comfort. These boots feel better on my feet with a heavier loft sock. It gives my feet extra padding. That adds comfort and makes me enjoy the boots so much more. Now that I have had them for months, they are starting to break in and move much easier. These boots have always looked stylish...now they are becoming much more comfortable. In addition, they are the right height for my legs. I love that they are not too tall. At first, I was unsure that I would be wearing them as much as I do now. So glad that they have relaxed to a much more enjoyable fit.

Comfy Boots

I have been wearing a pair of these boots for 6-1/2 years. They had gotten pretty worn, but were still all together. I finally got a new pair and boy do they look and feel good. I prefer the rounded toe over the pointed toes that are more widely found now. The height of the heel is also comfortable. I wear boots and jeans every day so it's important that my boots fit well and feel good. They were a perfect fit.

Nice but a tad tight even in wide

Nice sturdy boot, love the simplicity of it. I ordered the wide and it's still a bit tight across my toes but I think it will loosen up once worn for awhile.
