I received this bag today and when I was putting it away I saw that the stitching on the cross body strap has broken and coming out. I am afraid now quality is a problem with Laurel & Sunset and I am disappointed because this purse is wonderful - soft, supple and lightweight - cross body is necessity for me. There are no outside pockets - one zippered inside pocket. I filled it up with my usual things and find there is room to spare. When I carry a supple purse like this cross body with a cane it is no trouble and does not get in the way because it drapes at my side. Lightweight is a big advantage to me - I carry a light makeup bag and light wallet too.
So far Laurel & Sunset brand is my favorite at Amazon. I do hope it holds up and the faux leather does not peel off as I have read in reviews . Web site states "Made with distressed fabric to quickly achieve a vintage look by fading at stress points" which is fine -but- faux leather peeling off is not. I just subtracted one star because of the broken stitching on the cross body strap. I wanted so to love this purse.

This purse was a darker, muddier gray than it looked online. Very unattractive. The lining was of a cheap looking material and was dark brown which clashed with the purse. The good: it is very light weight and soft and roomy. I know this wasn't an expensive purse, but I've bought much better quality ones for less. So it is going back. Thank you Amazon for your free return policy!
