    Typical Rockports. Well made and, most importantly, very comfortable. To break them in, I've been wearing them around the house every few days for a few hours. After a couple of weeks, they should be ready. The real test will come next month when I go hiking for five days in the Smoky Mountains. I'll report back to let you know how they did.

    Ok so every store i ever been to in person has no love for people with big feet wide.im size 13 and a bit wide.im no fan of breaking them in.did that years ago but not no more lol.ok let's get to the shoes.i bought these just to wear for walking or bicycle riding.it fit perfectly the moment I put them on lol.i was smiling thinking wow rockport has love for people with big feet.they look pretty nice.i like shoes that are pretty basic no over the top design like nike shoes.now let's see if they last.i bought some hi tec hiking shoes that really sucked.they ripped after 2 months.i bought 2 pairs too smh.

    If you're in the market for a great few this is the one. The Rockport has everything you want in a shoe just read what it has in the description it's all true. I have bought rockport's in the past. They one of the finest shoes I have ever owned I'm about to put them on now and go for my walk perfect perfect perfect I will buy more.

    RETURNED. These are really good shoes but I wear 6 1/2 W--but they cost twice as much as size 7. So I ordered the 7. Thing is, 7s were way too narrow. I think they must have used a normal size template and then added the extra interior lining so that they were really more like a size 6. My advise, order wider than you usually get. As to the shoe it's a five star. One star off because they're sized poorly

    Based on the reviews, I ordered this shoe a half size too large. That was a mistake ... 11W was too long, but the 10.5W was just right.

    They are comfortable and definitely waterproof. Getting mud off is a hassle though!

    Rocports usually fit a little narrow so I ordered these wide. D (medium) would have probably worked, but these work fine with thick cotton or wool socks. Good looking shoe and feels comfortable walking.
