Designed to integrate cooling, power distribution and cable management into an easy-access cabinet, the SR2000 42U SmartRack Value Series Standard-Depth Rack Enclosure is ideal for secure, high-density server, telecommunications and networking applications. The SR2000 has a maximum weight capacity of 2000 lbs. It ships fully assembled with toolless mounting accessory slots for quick 0U installation of vertical PDUs and cable managers. The textured powder-coat finish resists wear and tear common in server room and warehouse environments.

Optimized for Datacenter Applications & Simple Equipment Installation
The SR2000 is compatible with all EIA-310-E-compliant 19-inch equipment, as well as today’s state-of-the-art hot-aisle/cold-aisle configurations. The front and rear doors are perforated to allow maximum airflow, and the rack is fully compatible with a wide range of airflow optimization and cable management accessories. Four baying connection points make it easy to combine multiple rack enclosures in rows. Standard 24-inch width and 40-inch depth make good use of limited floor space.
The SR2000 features front and rear pairs of vertical mounting rails with unthreaded square holes that adjust to accommodate equipment depths from 22 ⅝ inches to 29 ¾ inches and a stationary load up to 2,000 pounds. Adjustment is quick and convenient—simply unscrew the rails, slide them to the desired depth and restore the screws. An easy-view depth index ensures consistent rail placement without requiring time-consuming measurements. Each rack space is numbered for ready reference.
The SR2000’s adjustable vertical mounting brackets support toolless button-mount 0U installation to accommodate four vertical PDUs or cable managers. These brackets not only make it easier to route power and cabling to installed rack equipment, but they also reduce cord and cable clutter that could block airflow through the enclosure.
All SR2000 components are grounded to the enclosure frame. Connect the SR2000’s front or rear threaded grounding point to your facility’s earth ground connection with an 8 AWG wire and the included M6 screw. Route the ground wire under the frame to ensure the doors can open and close unhindered.
Easy Access, Vented Top Panel with Cable Ports & Pre-installed Casters
The SR2000 is designed to provide a safe, secure solution for mission-critical rack-mounted equipment. The front and rear doors and side panels lock securely with the included keys to prevent unauthorized access to equipment. The doors and panels can also be removed to make it easy for IT personnel to perform inspections and maintain and replace equipment.
The removable top panel is furnished with vents designed to help remove warm air from the enclosure cabinet and draw in cool air by convection. It also supports installation of standard user-supplied case fans. Both the top and bottom panels provide ports for convenient cable routing and management.
To simplify deployment, the SR2000 comes with preinstalled casters and leveling feet. The casters let you easily roll the enclosure to its desired location, where it can then be secured in place by adjusting the levelers. The SR2000 has a rolling load capacity of 1,100 pounds, enabling rack equipment to be installed in the enclosure cabinet prior to final deployment. Note: The casters are intended for minor position adjustments within the final installation area only. They are not designed for moving the enclosure over long distances.
