This silverware set is fantastic! I wanted to get my 3 year old utensils that looked more like the silverware we use so she would feel more like a big girl and I also wanted to get her a matching set with a knife because she always wants to cut her own food. The silverware has a nice weight to them and look and feel just like the silverware we use already, just a smaller version. While they are smaller than adult silverware, they do seem to be just a little bigger than other toddler utensils I have purchased which is great because she can use these for a few more years. Unlike the Disney fork and spoon sets she already has, the spoon in this set has more of a curve to hold liquids so now she can actually get broth with her noodles! One of the main things I was looking for when I bought this set was the knife. It isn't very sharp, which is to be expected for a toddler utensil, but it does the job. The top is rounded which is great because most kids tend to shove it in their mouth or lick it so at least I don't have to worry about her stabbing herself.

The only reason I gave it one star is because you have to give something in order to review the product. This set is so small it is NOT fit for a five year old. It's ridiculously TOO small. It's for children maybe up to three years old. I'm just going to send it to my nephew that's turning one in a few weeks. I was very disappointed, especially for the price of it.

This is just the cutest toddler silverware set I've ever seen. They're very high quality and will last a long while! My son and daughter absolutely love them and fight over who will get to use them so I'll be ordering a second set very shortly. The fork is a 3 prong fork and the knife's edges aren't too sharp so as long as you're watching they're safe for the kid's to use. They're all extremely thick and sturdy. I absolutely recommend these! Fair warning, if you have multiple kids then I'd go ahead and get multiple sets. These are a huge hit in my house.

My daughter is turning 4 in a few months and she has been successfully using plastic silverware since she was just over 1 year old. For Christmas her Grandma bought her one of this character sets that has plastic handles and metal fork/spoon end, which she likes a lot but had been asking for grown up silverware, and specifically a knife. Again, we have plastic knives that she has been able to use but those are quite limited as to what they will cut.
The knife in this set is 6-5/8 inches long. The tip is very round but the blade is serenaded donut will actually cut anything that a standard butter knife would. My daughter's first use was to cut the "green part" off of her strawberries.
The spoon is exactly what you would expect a spoon to be. It is about 5-1/2 inches long and has the shape of a standard soup spoon, but of course is smaller to accommodate child sized bites.
The fork is also 5-1/2 inches long and has three tines. I would prefer that it had 4 tines but there really isn't any reason why, I just prefer the aesthetics of a four tined fork. The fork still works perfectly and my daughter had no trouble at all with it.
She loves her "real silverware" and she had already made me wash it up for each and every meal since it arrived. This set was exactly what I was looking for.

I love this 3-peice toddler silverware set! I bought this set for my 4 and 2 year old children. I wanted something that would be timeless and could be a little keepsake for my kids. We have lots of options for tableware, but my kids really love using a set like this because they feel so grown up. My kids were so excited to try out their new silverware.
The set comes in a cute cardboard container. Each piece was individually wrapper in plastic. The first thing I did was put the silverware in the dishwasher. They washed just fine and came out nice and clean. My daughter used the set for lunch today and loved it! She loves that not only does she have a spoon and fork, but she also has a knife now because she is a "big girl." My kids are 4 and 2 and I think the size was just perfect for them. My 4 year old even has some room to grow with the silverware.
My kids and I are really enjoying this set of silverware. I can totally see this product lasting and I bet my kids children will be able to use this set one day. I will recommend this set to all my family and friends. This would also make a great gift for children.

This silverware set is perfect for my toddler! We have lots of toddler silverware with plastic handles, which I don't mind, but I absolutely love that this set can be used for when we are having a nicer dinner and don't want bright pink or neon green utensils on the table. My three year old daughter is so excited about them, because they look like grown up silverware but are just the right size for her! They actually made her eat her dinner better! That probably won't last long, but one night without a struggle is completely worth it! It is also nice that the knife isn't too sharp, but she can still practice cutting things with it so eventually she will be able to use a bigger knife. Plus, the rounded edge is nice because you never know what sort of wild things toddlers will do at the table, so it's nice that it's not a weapon! I added a picture to compare it to some other kid silverware we have, so you get a better idea of how the sizes match up. I'd highly recommend this silverware set to anyone looking for a nice set for their child!
