The Print Shop for Mac is identical to the PrintMaster V6 that I own. If you have PM6, then no need to purchase the Print Shop V1 thinking you will get a newer, more technologically advanced app. Look at the reviews for PM6 since there are many of them. The Print Shop V1 uses identical projects, identical clip art, identical backgrounds and unfortunately identical software. The only difference I could find is that the tool bar is on the top and not the side. When you open the application up, the pop up asks you what type of a project you would like to open up... same exact screen as the PM. After you pick the project, you will get the same PM templates, same PM set up, etc. The Print Shop for Mac's viewing screen is smaller than the PM6 since the tool bar takes away a huge amount of the top and the bottom has page thumbnails. It does use the same user friendly interface and is easy to figure out... Of course I already know how PM works, so it was as if I was using the same product. It is not native Yosemite as it can run on the older Mac systems 10.7 and up.

I've used Print Shop for windows for 30 plus years with no problems, and I just switched to Mac. Downloaded this program and found an issue with the postage-stamp size of the workspace. The thumbnails preview at the bottom takes up too much valuable workspace! Can't figure out how to close that panel. Checked the online manual. Nothing. Contacted Encore support. No help there. They only address issues of a technical nature. Nowhere to turn. Spent $50 on something I can hardly use and I can't return a download. Not happy with the purchase.
