This is the answer to any motorcyclist! Very small footprint, takes up very little of the limited storage space on a bike, and has enough power to jump start you anywhere. The battery on my bike is very hard to access, let alone connect cables to, yet this little jewel makes it easy! If you don't need one for yourself, it is guaranteed to be a hit as a gift to your favorite biker!

This device is, in theory, absolutely amazing. I say "in theory" because I have not yet needed to use it to jump start my car. (EDIT: See my review additions below for an update on this...)

It comes in a very well designed semi-hard case that zips closed. It's easy to store in a car - it fits nicely under the passenger seat of my car. It comes with a three-way 30-pin, lightning, and micro-USB cable so you can charge your Apple device or whatever else charges via USB - or of course you can plug any USB cable into the USB port on this battery to charge other devices. The battery clamps fold up nicely and are stored neatly in the case.

The LED flashlight is very bright and will come in handy for camping, etc.

It seems the manufacturers have made this very safe for jump-starting a car; they claim that this battery unit has:
• Reverse polarity protection
• Backfeed protection
• Overheat protection
• Under Voltage protection
• Over Voltage protection
• Short Circuit protection

I'm really impressed with this battery - I'll update my review if I ever have a flat car battery and have to use this jump-starter. It claims to jump start "most 4- and 6-cylinder engines" and the cranking amps specs are pretty impressive so I have a lot of trust in this product. Don't expect to jump start a completely dead V8 truck battery, but for most cars/light SUVs I think this is a great product.

****EDIT 5/14/15****
Well, I finally got a chance to test this thing out. My friend left her Nissan Xterra lights on overnight and in the morning the battery was completely dead with no response at all when trying to start the car. I went to get this battery and followed the instructions. It was easy to connect the jumper cables.Read more ›

My primary reason for choosing The Charge It Micro Jump Starter was to keep in the car or motorcycle in case of a dead battery—but I've discovered it does much more. It is lightweight, portable, and comes with a hardshell carrying case that holds the needed cords and jumper cables. It easily fits under the seat, in the trunk, or the saddlebags. It's comforting to know we can start a dead battery without calling for help or be at the mercy of strangers. However, it has many other uses and can charge a multitude of devices.

INCLUDED with the charger are jumper cables, an AC and DC charging adapter for a wall outlet and for the car, a USB cable with 3 adapters (2 are Apple plus a micro usb), plus a 12V accessory cable. And it has a very bright, built-in flashlight.

The charger has one 5V, 2A USB port. It easily charged my Galaxy S4 phone as well as my iPod and tablet. This output is about the same speed as my wall charger. There is also a 19V output for laptops, but to use that requires an adapter cable that is purchased separately.

OPERATION of the charger is straightforward but an instruction booklet is also provided. I initially charged the unit using the wall adapter. Also included is a 12V adapter for charging while driving. Blue indicator lights let me know when the unit was fully charged. The USB port works the same as on a computer—connect the device and press the start button. To jump start a battery, after connecting the cables a green status indicator will light if it is safe to start the ignition.

Now that I've been using this charger I realize what an incredibly versatile device it is both on the road and at home.

I have used this several times since purchase and in each case the unit provided enough power to get the engine to start. One was a pickup truck with a v8 engine. The trucks battery was not totally dead but down enough so the stater would just make a clicking sound.
Only complaint is that the rubber cover where the battery cables plug in easily tears off.
I am happy with this product

This is a surprisingly convenient battery pack and jump starter. We have so far successfully charged smartphones (Iphone 4, 5 and Samsung Galaxy S5) as well as jump start a Ford F150 that had accidentally been left connected to an RV over the week. I can see this as indispensable for off-roading and RV dry-camping.

This useful gadget features a USB port for charging electronics and a polarity protector for jump starting vehicles.

Give yourself peace of mind and quick energy on the go with the CHARGE IT! PP15. The power pac is about the size of a small brick and fits into your glove compartment or spare tire well.

This is a versatile charging device with two ways to charge (AC adapter or DC cigarette lighter) and three different output levels (19V, 12V, and 5V) for any electronic device.

We found it helpful to charge it up ahead of time before a recent camping trip, then use it to charge our cell phones. My wife's Samsung Galaxy was compatible with the included cable. However, when I went to charge my iPhone 5, the included lighting connector did not work. Thankfully, I had my iPhone cable with me, and was able to plug it right in to the CHARGE IT! USB port and get a good connection.

At full charge, the battery advertised that it can even jump a 4 or 6 cylinder vehicle. The unit also comes with a built in bright LED light that can be set for steady, flashing, or SOS.

A nice, compact charging device for any camping, boat, or road trip.
