I purchased this shaver about two months ago and one of the cutting blades already became dislodged, hitting the foil screen and splitting it. "No big deal," I thought. "I'll just buy a replacement foil." However, as the other reviewer pointed out, no replacement parts exist for this model! Now I have to wrap tape around the foil to prevent the shaver from gouging my face. I would not recommend this model for anyone at any price. I will now be replacing this piece of junk with a Braun or returning to my DE blade.

UPDATE: Apparently, a replacement head is available from Remington for the PF7400, which may fit. Unfortunately, with tax and shipping, the cost to fix is nearly $30. Just not worth it in my opinion for a $40 shaver...still using the DE.

3.5-4 stars. I chose this for my husband who has never owned an electric razor. It's a good Lithium razor that gives a decent shave and is easy to clean and operate. You have the option of cord or cordless and the head pivots which is handy when shaving your face. Even though he feels he can get a closer shave with a manual razor, he does like it and will continue to use it. I don't think it's the best razor out there but I think the price of the razor is good for what you get.

My husband has pretty much started to refuse to use disposable razor blades stating they are a waste of money and just too expensive. I tend to agree with him on this. It seems the cost just keeps going up because they know we American's are going to continue to be obsessed with removing our facial and body hair. This razor is a very sharp blue and looks nice (not cheap). My husband tried it and said it was a close shave with no irritation or complaints on his part. He has to shave his beard pretty much every day and this Remington shaver really helps him out. No searching for razor blades or running out of them at the last minute.

The PF7500 is a good razor for the price and if I was comparing it to the competition I’d give it a good score. However compared to the old 3-foil microscreen razers like the MS3-1000 it leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to how close it shaves. The MS3 was always very good at getting as smooth as shave as possible but required that you use the trimmer a lot on thicker hair if you went more than a day between shaves. The PF75— is the opposite, it’s very good at shaving every hair, no matter the type and location but at the expense of not getting a shave that’s as close. I’m also not all that sold on the pivoting head, once again it’s good at getting everything the first time but I find myself often using my hand to lock it in place so I can use one of the foils to get a closer shave. Overall it’s not a bad razer and could easily be the best of what’s available now but I’d happily pay twice as much for a new MS3 microscreen if Remington brought it back.

This comes with the razor, and the adapter. The adapter is one that actually plugs INTO the razor, it does NOT have a cradle with the little metal contacts that have to be aligned right to work. I like this kind better, myself, I find it more reliable that it will actually charge when I want it too.

The clipper on this one is pop up, but it's small. I'm taking a point off for that, because it's just easier and faster to grab another clipper to use than this one. It's not going to be a problem if you shave often, but my guys are bad to skip shaving on the weekends then need a clipper.

It shaves as closely as any electric razor does. I've never seen one that works as well or that gives a shave that lasts as long as a blade, but this one is ok. The shave looks good. It charges fast, keeps a charge for more than one shave, and is easy to wash. The top can be washed under running water in the sink. Operation is easy too, there's just one button to push, and the clipper pops out easily too.

It's a good budget razor with a shave as close as more expensive razors. I can't comment on the durability at this point- if I have problems I will update the review.

This is a good entry level electric shaver. Most of the time, my husband just uses a manual razor that uses replaceable cartridges but those cartridges are so expensive. I thought that getting an electric razor would be a better alternative.

This is definitely easier to use than shaving manually. You do have to charge the razor and clean it up afterwards but it’s safer and just a more casual shave to run an electric shaver around your face.

What I like about this version is that you can use it corded or cordless which is convenient if you aren’t always near an outlet. It’s not waterproof so you can’t use it in the shower but you can rinse it off in the sink after use.

My husband liked it but he still prefers shaving with a manual razor, he can get a closer shave and feels like he has more control over it.

My son says it's a closer shave than he got from his rotary head previously. He's happy with it.

I hadn't used electric in years, but I'd heard that these newer straight style electric razors give a closer shave than older electric versions, so I tried it out. Using it felt fairly smooth, but the results were lackluster. I won't be converting back to electric.

If you use electric, this seems like a good razor for the money. I noticed a lot of reviewers citing a lack of replacement parts, so do your research.
