The pin itself has help up fine but that may just have to do with the fact that the clasp broke right off when trying to close it. I've ordered a new pin back and hope to get that in place so it can be used.

The pin arrived today, and it is absolute garbage. I thought it looked nicer than the other available Hand of the King pins, so I took a chance, even though there weren't any reviews yet. My son was looking forward to wearing it to a formal dance at school tonight, but it didn't even make it to the car. Within an hour of pinning it on his kilt, the blade broke off. It didn't get caught on anything, it simply fell apart. We are both very disappointed and I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for a better quality product.
