Good old Corn Nuts, what are you going to say? They're one of those love 'em or hate 'em snacks and I love them. These are the regular size ones; my preference is for the ones made with jumbo corn kernels, but those have gotten hard to find. Both have that good corny, salty flavor, though. Between the carbs and the sodium, Corn Nuts are only an occasional treat for me, and I hate to be disappointed by getting a stale bag. The ones I received from Amazon's Prime Pantry were excellent.

I haven't had these in probably a decade, and I don't remember these being quite so salty then. I do remember that the puffed corn was quite delicious. But man, I cannot get over the sheer intensity of the sodium content.

There is quite a lot here, 7 ounces of fried and puffed out corn kernels. And I would say upon a quick look at the contents of the bag, at least 95% of the kernels are totally intact. Which is nice, because the incomplete pieces don't seem to taste as good. Possibly because the fractured pieces seem to just taste of salt more than anything.

And that's my major problem with Corn Nuts now. The sodium content is ridiculous. If all bags are as salty as mine was, I can't really recommend this for anyone, unless you are just going to have a few nibbles and then up it away. I really don't remember it being this bad the last time I had them. It's really almost quite offensive to my taste buds how much salt they put in this one little bag.

That being said, if they made a reduced sodium, or even a sodium free version of Corn Nuts (although I know they won't), then I would probably enjoy them a lot more. As it is, I can't eat these because of how salty they are. And I'm someone who does like an amount of salt on things. And I also enjoy salted snacks like nuts and things. But this is just too much for me. Maybe the bag I got was an anomaly. But basically, it's some good puffed corn almost ruined by way too much salt in the bag.

My wife grew up in central California near the factory where these were made years ago. I purchased these just for some nostalgia, but she loved them. Corn nuts never caught on in a big way, but they should have. A nice crunchy, slightly salty, un-sweet snack.

I love corn nuts and this original flavor is no exception! Yes, they are messy, yes they do sometimes make your breath smell funny but they are also wonderful to eat and share. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to share my food with friends who politely decline everything until I bust out the corn nuts-- which pretty much no one can refuse. They taste great, have an awesome crunch and are available for purchase in perfectly- sized bags that hold enough to satisfy the craving. . . but not too much to make you feel sick. They do have a lot of salt, but that's part of the reason why they are so good.

I would highly recommend them to family, coworkers, friends, roommates, strangers. . . pretty much to anyone alive. I probably wouldn't give them to babies, or to young kids who have really nice white clothes on (they might make of mess of everything) but other than that I think that they are wonderful and appropriate for pretty much anyone! I most certainly plan on buying them again!

Yummy! Very addictive. I don't usually like to much salt on anything I eat. However these were just right. Was not going to order as some reviews said was salty but they are really great (probably not so healthy lol) but hay a good snack once in a while never killed anyone! Taste great with beer. This is my first time buying these and I will be adding these to my snack stock :-)

Can I just start by saying....this is my favorite snack. ....and being a pregnant lady its pretty much the only thing I want to eat. I am also happy to report there is far less salt now. Before I was having to dump the corn nuts onto a paper towel and rubbing the salt off.....yeah...it was that bad. But hey they listened and fixed the problem so wheeeeee.

My family has always made fun of me for loving Corn Nuts, but jeez these are good. The flavors of a well-made tortilla chip condensed into a toasty kernel, with a good level of seasoning coating each bite. You'll sound like you're chewing on loose teeth, but it's worth the attention.
