Exactly what I needed to port my wires after mounting my TV. I'm happy I went with the 2-gang size over the single since I've had to get about 6 cables through it. **Make sure you buy mounting brackets, too!! You need a bracket and plate to d this install!**

A perfect way to run a continuous CAT5e cables from the router in one room to entertainment equipment in another room via the attic. This eliminates regular wall plate jacks and the additional connection points and possible degradation of the signal. To eliminate the possibility of any drafts, I pushed a chunk of silicone rubber High Voltage Putty I had on hand, up inside the 'funnel' part of the wall plates to seal it around the CAT5e cables. Works perfectly. You can get the putty on Amazon made by GC Electronics. One 1.25 oz. bag/chunk will do 2-3 wall plates.

GREAT PRODUCT. SO Easy to install.. The package includes a template you can cut out for use on the wall to mark your cutting area. This was very helpful and once you have the hole cut you literally pop it in and screw down the screws on the front of the plate. The design of the product's screw backs is flawless. As you screw it in, the screw has a plastic flap that positions itself on the other side of the drywall and holds the plate in place firmly. I was very impressed and had these installed and wires run in under 30 minutes. What an improvement in aesthetics and function. Don't forget to get longer cables if you are already cutting it close on your cables length and get yourself a decent drywall saw (they are cheap). Thanks for reading I hope this helps.

This worked great for hiding the cords behind my TV going to the TV Stand! Very easy to use! Only took my boyfriend maybe 10 minutes to install. You will also need some mounting brackets to go behind this. Would decidedly recommend this and buy it again. Here's a pic of the finished product!

Worked out pretty good. Ran two PL259 ham radio cables through this from a exterior cement wall with about 1.5 inches of drywall clearance. Nice and tight and served its purpose well. The two clips on the top and bottom are configured to auto rotate into position and then tighten down to make it snug. It comes with a template to cut out. I was surprised that the template was nearly as big as the outlet cover itself but I rolled with it. It came out nicely. Would buy another.

I first want to apologize to DataComm. I have used many of your products in the past and have several of these in wall chutes in my home already. I needed another set while installing a new tv for my wife's office. I was at my local big box store for something else and they had a different brand of a similar product. It was about $2 cheaper and was there for me to take home that day. Upon installing the other product I found that it was actually a 2 piece system as opposed to your 1 piece. The plastic was very flimsy and when I went to screw it into the low voltage box the face plate cracked. So I immediately threw them both in the trash, pulled out my cell phone and ordered your product again. @ days later (Amazon Prime) I was good to go. Lesson learned from a now lifelong DataComm buyer. Thank you for your products
