Nice product. Works as expected. Shipped promptly and the box is bubble wrapped to protect it. Purchased the medium size and it is too small for a 12 oz bag of coffee. It is almost exactly 12 oz in size, which does not provide enough space to put the lid on properly. Not a complaint, but another reviewer implied that the medium was large enough and that the large was too big. A 12 oz bag of ground coffee is fairly standard and typically the smallest size I have seen in the grocery, so if that is your goal for this product get the large. The medium would be good for anything 10 oz and smaller.

These are great storage containers. I tried them now for several weeks storing sugar. I have a problem with ants and if there was any sort of leak, I know the ants would have found it, and no ants as of today!

This is a very attractive piece. We keep coffee beans in this for our French press. The only complaint is being that it's glass, smudges show. Well duh lol. I clean it every time the beans empty but have yet to submerge the lid underwater. We don't notice a strong coffee smell when full and the beans seem just as fresh as when we opened the bag. The glass feels solid and looks thick. I don't feel as if I am going to break it when handling it. I'm considering ordering more for other things around the house and I will most certainly recommend this.

We grind our own beans daily but we've switched to (mostly) decaf, but from time to time I still like my haf-caf (half French roast and half decaf French roast). Our grinder is normally filled with decaf beans but I'll grind a supply of haf-caf and store it in this container - works great! And it fits in our Breville coffee bean grinder - a nice plus.

These vacuum containers are great and look nice too. I recommend the medium one for coffee because the large one is very tall. it would be good for 2 bags of whole bean coffee but one bag doesnt fill it halfway and the small is too small but i use the medium for sugar and the small for my girlfriends loose leaf tea

Received this as a Christmas gift (had put it on my Amazon wish list) to use as coffee pod storage, since I had gone to soft bottom coffee pods for my Keurig (trying to be more environmentally sensitive) and they are not airtight nor would they fit in my storage drawer. Well, LOVE this product. It works great, holds enough pods for several days (I'm the only coffee drinker), and it's gorgeous on my kitchen counter. As a lover of Kona coffee, and unhappy with the selection available in pods, I had been occasionally using my single-cup refillable MyK-Cup when I didn't use the french press. But I just found a set of snap-top gold mesh filter refillable K-cups for Keurig. There are several brands. I chose one with a silicone seal and a lid that closes well. Read the reviews. But now I can fill 10 of these, store them airtight in this lovely EVAK and I have the best of both worlds: the convenience of fresh K-cups filled with the exact coffee I choose (not just whatever is available) AND environmental sensitivity.

Yes, I am one of *those* coffee snobs. I grind my own beans, and I drink a LOT of coffee, so I have to grind often. This product allows me to do larger batches of grinding, and since the air is removed from the coffee grounds, each cup tastes like the beans have been freshly ground that morning. I love this, and may buy more for other dry food products like rice, flour, sugar, etc.

These containers are just awesome. If you want an easy-to-use countertop vacuum container, then this is it. As advertised, nothing touches the food other than borosilicate glass and stainless steel. One thing - when you think of vacuum storage in these terms, do not think that it is evacuating *all* the air (at least it doesn't seem like it does) like an electric vacuum packer. It does, however evacuate all *excess* air from the container. I may be wrong on that, but either way it is great.
