and I really don't like mixing metric and inch measurements like that

Clamping kit works alright, but I have two issues with it: First, the shortest studs aren't short enough to use the smallest step clamp and block together without adding a few washers between the flange nut and the step clamp. Second, even though this is a 3/8-16 threaded kit, the flange nuts need a 17mm wrench, and I really don't like mixing metric and inch measurements like that.

Use these with my Sieg X2 all the time. I don't think the description says what the blue holder is made out of but it is plastic. It's pretty thick but I thought it was going to be sheet metal or something. Personally I'm not going to hang it by the holes. I have it sitting on a shelf and am using the holes so it doesn't fall over.

Works as they should, but a little rough.

These clamps do their job well and have a durable finish. They are a little rough (I.e. Not 100% deburred, holes drilled slightly off, threads not cleaned well when cut) but some quick file work will have them perfectly smooth and functional. I use these daily for all types of clamping needs and would definitely recommend.
