In the past year I have tried numerous brands of laundry scent enhancers, and I've come to the conclusion that the "crystal" varieties beat the "pellet" varieties hands-down. The value per ounce is much better with the crystals, and more importantly the scent lingers much longer---my towels and bedding no longer have any hint of linen-closet smell.

Arm & Hammer on this product recommends anywhere from a little to 2/3 cup in a load of laundry. Even in my large loads, I only use a little and it still imparts wonderful scent throughout. I think the maximum dosage would actually be a little overpowering, particularly on bedding that might be in close contact with my face. This particular scent says it is " inspired by nature," whatever that means! To me, it smells like fresh laundry with a hint of perfume.

These work great, in the sense that I left a load in the washer all day (I know it's terrible but I honestly forgot and was busy upstairs cleaning)
So anyways I went downstairs and was dealing to open the washer door and have that musky smell of yucko sat too long in the washer smell whap me in the face upon opening the door....except...THE CLOTHES SMELLED COMPLETELY FRESH STILL. This means they got promoted right to the dryer. After being dry they still smelled fresh. This is great because number one I had another load to throw in the washer and that means I didn't get more ba ked up on laundry than I already was and I didn't have to waste any time!

My only comment is the smell is fresh not perfumey. I like a stronger smell. This smells like fresh after rain air. Still good just was different than I expected.

Great price. Like really the Downey is so expensive. This will keep you under budget.

As others have said, this leaves your laundered items with a refreshing yet not overpowering scent. That being said, I would not recommend these for everyday use because of the price and the quantity you have to use. For bedding and especially washing clothing for the last time of for the season this product is excellent. For towels and wash cloths I would say yes only if you have enough so you can rotate them out every other week. For your regular laundry items such as clothing, Arm & Hammer's scented laundry detergent does the trick without help.

I like to add these in with my Gain in wash beads and they create the perfect scent for my clothes. My family always asks me what i washed their clothes in when I use them together. Arm and Hammer is an under rated brand and im not sure why because they have some of the best products! I do not want to go without these! They are amazing!

Great replacement for the more expensive downy unstoppables. I actually feel like these may be better as they aren't as strong smelling but still makes my laundry smell fresh! I don't use the full amount and still have great results.

Leaves behind a really long lasting fresh scent. This scent is not an "april teddy bear " fresh which seems more floral-y like than fresh to me. The use up rate of this product when comparing the same size bottle to a similar Downy product, lasts 4-5X more longer. Arm and Hammer offers an additional scent in a orange bottle, but this flavor in the blue bottle is far superior!! I just can't laundry with out it!! I find that I can skip or use only one or two dryer sheets when I use this product!! a definite winner !!

It is our first time using arm and hammer product. I first saw it mentioned in one of the you-tube channels. So we brought one as a sample and we sure are coming back. You just take small amount and put it in your washer before putting clothes and then run the wash cycle as usual. The clothes came out smelling so nice. The fragrance lingers even after the clothes were in the dryer and ironed.
You cant beat the value for your you get on this.
