First off, the company that sold this is GREAT!!! But I do not find the product to be conditioning. The shampoo of the same brand is soooooo drying (although it definitely works to keep the color bright!) you need a real moisturizing conditioner after and this does not fit the bill. I might find a moisturizing shampoo and then use this as the conditioner.

Great product for red died hair! The best there is! However 2nd timed I have received this item in a plastic bag and half of the bottle spilt all over the bag so not impressed with the shipping method and paying 20.00 for 8.5 0z and getting half gone is more than frustrating!!!!!

This is a great idea to make the color last longer. Especially the red shades. The problem with this line is that they are all in one products and out of experience I can say that those never work properly. My neighbor ordered this and gave it to me to try. It has a faint hue, the shampoo is more pigmented, this is just to slightly refresh and add shine, volume to the hair. Well, I have fine hair and it was too heavy for my hair, so no volume. There was some shine, and a little color, but I honestly had to rewash my hair as it felt just greasy. I am using another professional and well known company's red pigmented shampoo and conditioner and those are actually moisturizing.

I use the crimson shampoo and must tell you it is highly pigmented and helps restore vibrancy to deep red hair, however I always follow with a high quality conditioner like my favorite one, from pureology to drench my hair with much needed moisture and nutrients. Stand alone, this product will likely seem drying to your hair. I recommend it if your gonna follow a routine as I have advised. Been red for years and never lacked for soft lucious loch's!
