Format: Vinyl

First of all, it's "Exile," not "Exiled." So, for there being no bigger Altered State fan in the world, you missed a couple big points. The second being, the live footage released on YouTube is different from the live album, i.e. the Russians yelling and Dan speaking in Russian. That said, I enjoyed parts of that first review. Enlightening to read that you thought Dan is obviously capable, but made a stylistic choice.

And, with all this said, the 3rd album, according to Amos and James, is already heavier than both albums. In which case, Dan should be brought back. Have you heard Ashe try Acceptance or Deception? The Impossible? Awful. Voice very strained.

Notice they never even tried Nascent. Ashe doesn't have that realm in him. Dan is clearly the more balanced vocalist. Perfect for this band. And, he performs better on stage. Ashe is lazy. Maybe he's worried about popping a lip ring. Beautiful voice though. Bueno Bueno.
