I love to bake, and I go through cocoa powder at an alarming rate. This 2lb bag from Morning Pep is going to make my next few weeks of baking divine!

I've never been able to find a cocoa powder in my typical grocery store that I like - they all taste over-processed and bland. This cocoa powder is extremely rich and flavorful! I've been able to cut down the amount of powder I use in my chocolate cake donuts and brownies by a few tablespoons across the board while still maintaining the same flavor. I made a quick batch of mug brownies following the same recipe I've used a million times and they came out so much more delicious than they ever have before!

Choosing quality ingredients is important to me, since I often give away the things I've baked. This cocoa powder is organic, so no worries about random chemicals from the growing process. It's also non-GMO, kosher, and vegan which means a lot of people just lost their excuses to turn down a plate of brownies! The dietary benefits are incredible and with the proper technique this powder can be used in a very healthy manner!

I'm so happy with this cocoa powder, and I'm beyond excited that I have two whole pounds of it to play with! I did receive this product at a discount but price doesn't change how great this cocoa powder tastes, nor does it effect my review!

I am always looking for raw organic items to add to my meals to boost their nutritional properties. When I saw this ORGANIC RAW DARK cocoa powder (3 POWEEERRR words: organic / raw / dark) I knew I had to incorporate it into my dishes!!!!

Cocoa powder is a super food. It is a powerful antioxidant, it prevents aging, it repairs inflammation (from all your canola oil food items people!), it reduces the risk of heart problems and stroke. It can even reduce blood pressure, improve your cholesterol levels, repair damaged blood vessels and just generally give you more energy!

The first step to better health was I took with this powder was to add it to my morning smoothies. I always have a smoothie before heading to the gym. I add: 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt, 1/4 cup coconut water, 2 handfuls of organic baby spinach, 1 frozen banana, a few frozen berries for antioxidants as well, and then the rest is water. I use my Ninja blender and pulse it - I added this Morning Pep Rich Dark cocoa powder to the mix and it was ABSOLUTELY decadent and amazing!

I will be adding this to: overnight chia seed puddings, raw granola bars and power balls, sprinkling it over fruit for desserts and adding it to egg whites for egg white crepes. This brand is QUALITY... the flavor is RICH and has amazing depth and you will taste the difference between this and other "cheap" brands which I won't mention because you probably shouldn't be purchasing them anyway!

A great value, great product and an added staple in my kitchen for added health benefits!

I really love this cocoa powder! Any product that is non GMO and certified organic is always a plus in my book. It is also refreshing to look at an ingredient list and see only one ingredient - cocoa powder. It gives you added peace of mind when using it to bake or cook. You know you aren't loading yourself with the chemicals that are in so many of today's products. I also never realized that there were so many good things in cocoa like protein and fiber!

I am really impressed with the size of the pouch and how it is packaged. The package design makes it easy to open and close and most importantly, tightly reseal. It also makes it easy to get the powder out in the right amount that you'll need for whatever you are using the powder for.

I first used this in my morning smoothie. My base is a strawberry flavored powder and adding this powder basically made me feel like I was drinking a chocolate covered strawberry! It was a fantastic addition to my smoothie and I didn't need to add a lot to get the great chocolate flavor. It also didn't add much sweetness, nor was the cocoa flavor bitter like some can be. It was also great to add the flavor without adding a ton of calories or fat. I was so excited with how much I liked it in my smoothie that I decided to make some brownies later in the afternoon. It was nice to make them from scratch with ingredients that I knew the contents of and that I could trust. They were still brownies, so they weren't exactly healthy, but they were much healthier and a better option than a boxed mix. My husband was very surprised and excited to come home to fresh baked brownies. And he approved of their awesome chocolatey taste.

I look forward to continued use in my smoothies and baking and looking for other ways I can use the powder.

This is a very large 2lb bag of organic, unsweetened Cocoa Powder. I decided to do some research on the benefits of cocoa powder as well as how to use it. Health benefits from research are this product is used as a anti-depressant, antioxidant, and reducing cardiovascular diseases. 2 tbsp = 25 calories , 1.5 g of fat and 3.6g of fiber. Overall it is very healthy for you and can be very beneficial to your health. I than decided to see how to use the powder and was amazed that not only was it used in baking, drinks but can be used in almost everything including facial masks. I was not as creative as some have been and just stuck to making chocolate, chocolate chip cookies. My children did try the powder by itself lol which the smell is very appeasing to the sensing however not so much the taste buds being unsweetened lol. The chocolate - chocolate chip cookies were a big hit and one I will be making more often. As time goes by I am sure I will test this product out further and give updates as I do. Although I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest review , it does not change my opinion on product.
