I've tried many brands of this product on Amazon, but this is now my favorite! These seeds are crisp, earthy and nutty. The flavor is strong and robust––you seriously only need a third of what your recipe calls for, compared to other Amazon leading brands.

I've been buying Sincerely Nuts for a while. They look almost identical side-by-side, except the FTL is just very slightly bluer, and has a decent amount more plant matter in it. For Sincerely Nuts, my cooking usually causes me to burn through a 4 lb. bag within a week or two. These go such a long way that I imagine I'll be good for two or three.

I CANNOT emphasize enough, you likely only need a fraction of these for your recipe!
Great buy, two thumbs up, very happy. My muffins are so, so good now. :)

I am in need of a total naw replacement and my diet is very limited to soft foods. I read about the health benefits of eating poppy seeds and was even told by a doctor about them. I put them in everything and enjoy the crunch that I have missed so much. I even buy them for my parents. My skin and hair look better. The last batch of these didn't have that awful peppery smell and taste. I have wasted money because that smell makes me leary of chemicals. These didn't have that. They tasted nutty.

Last batch (May-June 2015) was AMAZING! Best I've ever had! Strong taste... even for someone who has been a poppy seed connoisseur for a few years. A little goes a long way... Really hoping they bring these back at the same quality. I'll most definitely be restocking if/when they come back.

Be SURE to order the seeds from England only. No doubt these p. Somniferon seeds are the finest I've found anywhere, on line or off. Beware! Batches of any perishable can vary greatly with any food supplier. Whatever they are shipping now is top shelf. First 5 star rating I've given in almost 20 years on line.

Hands down the best poppy seeds on Amazon at this time! These are unwashed and definitely serve their purpose! They do have a slight peppery taste and smell but these seeds are fresh & I'll look no further. I purchased these due to SN being out of stock and both these and SN are from the UK. I will no longer be worried when SN is out of stock because these are just as good!

These were very good poppy seeds. No additives, preservatives or chemicals. Just high quality, fresh, and unaltered poppy seeds(the way they should be). One notable thing is that they had a very strong flavor, which can be overpowering for some dishes. I will be buying again if they come back in stock, but unfortunately they sold out very quickly.
