I love this product! It smells so goooooood! And goes on so well. The applicator is great, so you don't make your fingers messy.
Okay, look, I know it's for babies. But really, it's not. It's for me. It doesn't smell baby-ish (the way some Johnson's & Johnson's products do, you know what I mean, that baby talc smell).
I have used the Baby Bee Multipurpose Ointment, and it's greasy, messy, and a bit of a hazard. I don't like how it doesn't absorb quickly into skin and leaves a messy trail on anything you touch for hours afterward. God forbid you touch your computer or remote after putting some on your hands.
This product is like an excellent, improved version of that product.
Do you have rough elbows and knees? Put this on it. Face dry or sunburned? Put this on it.
I applied this product to my face, elbows, knees and heels at night, and it didn't grease up my bedsheets or rub off everywhere. It absorbed into the skin quickly and cleanly, and my skin felt very rejuvenated in the morning. After using this product for a while, I think it will make a definite positive impact on the quality of my skin.
On a side note, if you have skin that has been toughened by radiation, surgeries, or any kinds of scars - this product should really soften it up and smooth it out. The almond oil, cocoa butter, and Vitamin E work really well on those types of wounds, and this product makes application a breeze. The applicator is honestly the perfect size to take with you to radiation appointments, and works better than the Fruit of the Earth Aloe that radiation oncologists suggest you use.

This lip and face moisturizer does a good job moisturizing, but I didn't particularly care for the strong lavender. If you don't care for lavender scented products, this likely won't be the lip and face moisturizer for you.

My boy loves, loves, loves this lip balm! He was born in early November, so he was subject to chapped lips. I started rubbing some on his lips when he was just a newborn and it's become part of our feeding routine-- he just smiles and coos when I put it on his lips! I often use it myself. It goes on buttery, not waxy. Just the best! The container is "like" Chapstick, but is larger (both wider and taller) by a bit.

This is a nice product but I did not find it as effective or moisturizing as Aquaphor. It is in a tube that is wider than a lip balm tube for cheek dispersal but can also be used on lips. I think the price point should be less also. I do like Burt's Bees but this is not a fave.

My toddler often has chapped lips and cheeks from even a brief time outside, with or without sunscreen, so I've started using this product on his face at bedtime. It's easier and less messy to apply than his normal sensitive skin lotion that I would put on his face, and my toddler has been asking me to apply this during the day sometimes too, so apparently he likes it, or at least it bothers him less than the lotion did.
It was kind of a solid waxy sort of chapstick when we first opened it, but it now applies much smoother and easier, like more of a balm feeling now, it seems. Smells fine; there's not a noticeably strong smell with this the way other Burt's Bees products have such strong fragrances.

This doesn't spread as easily as I had hoped. I literally have to rub the stick all over my son's face to cover everything. it does leave his skin soft but it's harder to apply than I thought it would be.

This is a great product that I did not hesitate to put on my daughter. It comes in a convenient tube for easy application. We could directly apply it on our daughter's cheeks, it was colorless with a very, very slight sheen that disappears after a while. It left her skin less red. She has sensitive skin and gets eczema, but she did not have any reactions to Burt's Bees.
My daughter used a clean finger to put some on her lips and she loved that it 'didn't feel like anything' was on her lips.
The tube is so convenient to carry with you for reapplication. Just like lip balms, we need to get one for each kid for hygienic purposes.

I bought this for my then 3 month old, who got a horrible skin irritation which the pediatrician said was due to the very cold weather. I like to use natural lotions on my son, and everything in the store was for older kids or not to my liking. This made the skin go back to normal in 3 days. It is mess free in the lip balm like container, and dries up to soft skin! Highly recommend this! Smells delicious too!
