The thickness and crispness of these chips is perfect and the taste is great. The sodium content is a little high but other than that the ingredient list is quality. My only complaint is that I don’t care for the shape and for that’s a dealbreaker. The shape is supposed to be conducive for dipping but I find that the opposite is true. The shape is irregular and it’s harder to scoop up salsa than regular chips. They’re not actually shaped like little scoops. At least not many of them are. Also, the irregular shape can cut up your mouth. If they make this chip in a regular shape I will for sure by it but I’ll take a pass on the dipping shells.

I don't like these as much as regular blue tortilla chips... there is a more of a 'mealy' taste and less 'snap'...

although it could be due to the creative packing and warehouse fun by Amazon's employees in Hebron, KY... the bag arrived with an approximate thickness of 1 1/2" - kind of a new, unique way to ship tortilla chips? LOL!

i'd recommend that Cape Cod explore more creative ways to package its goods... for now, the only thing i may use these crumbles for is as a poblano, bean and cheese casserole bake

I love blue tortilla chips. I read some of the reviews on Amazon about these thinking that, well, I'm gonna bite into one and it'll taste different. Or the texture will be different, Or it won't taste like a "real" corn chip. I like the chips alone with no salsa but especially with a good, natural salsa (good ingredients). So what happened?

First, I tasted it alone. It was as good as any corn chip I've ever tasted and not too salty. The texture was fine. The shape is what they say it is: perfect for dipping. My first reaction was I should have KNOWN it'd like it, since Cape Cod products are quite good and the "branding" image is indicative of the high quality of anything that has their name. Next came the salsa test: would it taste like a "real" chip in texture and flavor? Would the salsa taste different? Would it really dip well once it was exposed to salsa or crumble or get soggy?

What can I tell you but (NO JOKE) I started with one chip with a little more than a third of a bottle of high quality organic salsa -- and I finished the ENTIRE portion of the jar. These are indeed world class dipping shells and taste as good as any you'll ever have. The main difference is the ingredients and being gluten free. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

These tortilla chips are yummy with a deep hearty flavor and crunchiness. I love the shells shape; it holds a nice mouthful of dip but isn't so big as to scratch up the corners of my mouth. Perfectly seasoned too--these aren't too salty. I'm not a fan of salt.

My bag arrived pretty crunched up with lots of little pieces at the bottom of the bag. This led me to a new discovery! Crunched up Cape Cod Tortilla Dipping Shells make fantastic soup crackers! Chicken soup, bean soup, stew, etc. The chips have complemented every single soup (I've been recovering from surgery, so have been eating tons of single-serving soups).

These chips also come in Four-Bean and Ancient Grains varieties. I'm definitely going to try those flavors!

Cape Cod is a great American company; they started small in 1980 and never seem to have outgrown their original dedication to quality and deliciousness. I like companies like that. I love chips like these!

Well, I can't say much about the shipping as about half the bag were in broken bits and pieces. The whole, or mostly whole, remaining chips were mostly all in the dipping shape, though some of them just looked like most round tortilla chips around. The combined blue corn, chia seeds, and brown rice make for a tasty chip. At first I wasn't too sure, but the more I had them, the more I liked the taste. They are slightly healthier than most other tortilla since they have19 grams of whole grain per serving size of about 10 chips. The dietary fiber is only 1 gram but at least that's better than none. What I'm really happy about is the sodium content, which is only 100 mg or 4%. That can always sneak up so I like knowing that it's not much here. I doubt the taste will be for everyone, but I'd say give them a chance. You just might want to pick them up at a local store though, less broken pieces.

They took a while to get here, but the packaging had no problem with breakage--they were all just fine. Although they're kind of a dark brown (from the blue corn), they taste much like Fritos to me (including being a bit salty, but then again, I have to dust salt off of most chips these days. These have too much, but it seems a bit less than most).

The shape worked for me. They didn't break with the heavier dips like guacamole or nacho cheese and they scooped up more salsa than flat chips, just as would be expected. I like them.

I really like these. They are rather not highly flavored and show off a number of dips to advantage, including bean, salsa, and guacamole. I am somewhat of a health nut and appreciate the combination of healthy grains included in the chips, which are also gluten free and not too salty. They are bowl shaped to hold the dip and, of course, are blue in color. Conversely, my husband and daughter were less than impressed by the chips, but they are not adventurous diners.
