Bought 20 all together so far and use them for a water tight connection for cables running to Halloween / Christmas light displays. So far seem to be water tight however I have had a 3 out of the 20 so far where the pigtail has pulled out of the connector as if it wasn't fully crimped in there.

Be carefull when trying to strip these, don't put strain on the wires / connectors. They do not seem to be soldered in there.

I used these for an exterior LED light upgrade on my car. The previous wiring I had in place was never meant for "outdoor" or "automotive" use. These fit the bill perfectly. The wire and shielding is good quality and the weatherproofing also feels/looks solid. My only complaint preventing this from getting 5 stars are the small red plastic clips on the end of female plug. You have about a 50% chance for this red clip to detach from the female plug and getting stuck in the male plug when disconnecting the union. It's not a deal breaker but is definitely irritating. Luckily the chances are you won't be plugging and unplugging these types of connectors often, especially if it's part of an automotive application.

It's probably Chinese stuff, but it really surprised me. The clips are actually sturdy and clip in tightly. They are fully closed clips, not the split ones that are often defective.The rubber fittings are snug,so as to reassure me they'll keep the elements out pretty well. The wire is decent as well. It's a heavier gauge than most under hood wires. I prefer that. I would recommend this for any automotive application.
