Okay, I bought this because it was $29.90. I have plenty of boxes I didn't need it , I just had to see what a $30 box could do. I have the original dual core MX box, 3 apple TV 1st gen running Crystalbuntu with Kodi installed, obviously, and when the new OSMC OS comes out I'll be putting that on my ATV 1st gens. I also have Apple TV 2nd gen Jail-broken running Kodi, I bought the VERO running the new OS OSMC with Kodi installed and I have 2 Amazon Fire TV Boxes running Kodi. I also have a dell inspiron running openElec with Kodi running.

(side note)--the dell runs circles around all the other media streamers I have as far as loading menus, sources, and video content, but it is a slimline computer so it doesn't have a graphics card and cannot broadcast in 1080p so I don't use it much. If you want the fastest best media streamer it goes without saying a mini-itx computer build or NUC would blow all of my boxes away. When it comes to price when comparing media boxes to NUCs and the like its a no brainer, if money and space is no object a NUC is probably the way to go.

So we've established that I sort of know something about internet TV streaming media boxes, let me add I've programmed/installed the software needed on all my own boxes. I read the reviews for this box before purchasing so I didn't expect much. I received it a month after ordering so that kinda sucked but I didn't need it right away so I order it and just kinda forgot about.Read more ›

For $35 you can't go wrong. Set up was relatively easy with some YouTube tutorials. Updated to kodi isengard. Added VPN. Installed a few addons and wahla... I'm watching HD whatever. Paying $190 for DTV a month and there is hardly anything good on. The selection in Kodi is amazing. Bye DTV. I was concerned about cutting the cord because I'm a sports fan. No concern at all. The only concern I have is Band Width... I want to get Kodi box for my 4 TV's.
A keyboard and mouse is a big plus.

Do not buy this product you will regret it. Get a different MXQ box. Even tho it is more expensive it doesn't meet the needs that the cheaper boxes give me.

This thing is awesome. I have had no problems. I use my HP wireless keyboard and mouse and it works great. Just plug in the USB receiver and off and running. If you don't want to use the onscreen keyboard with the remote, I would recommend purchasing a wireless keyboard. I haven't tried it with a wired USB keyboard or mice but it has 4 USB ports so I am sure it will work. This toy will take you anywhere in the world from the latest movies to world wide TV from other countries. Great if your learning a foreign language or what to learn of different cultures.
