Ordered This distributor for a 98 civic with a failed igniter. As soon as I put the distributor in and made some timing adjustments the D16y7 ran like a champ with excellent power. Beware because I still had spark coming from the old distributor and the car wouldn't start. Verified proper fuel pressure, and removed valve cover verified good timing and t-belt intact. That means that the distributor can fail due to a bad ignitor yet still have spark. The igniter was the culprit in this case. car runs great now. This is the lowest price I have seen for this model distributor.

Mine clattered & wouldn't hold the time mark steady. It seemed to work OK but I couldn't set timing. THEY replaced THAT SO FAST MY HEAD IS STILL SPINNING! Wham Bam here's a new one man! Thanks Parts Galaxy!
