Thank you, thank you! I purchase these for my 94 year old mother. She had totally withdrawn because she couldn't hear. All the doctors told me it was because of her dementia, I didn't believe them. Finally, after she was non-responsive with a hearing test, an audiologist from Miracle Ear suggested I try an amplifier hear aid, I purchased these. Right after these were placed in my mother's ears she started talking! I knew in my heart that I hadn't lost her. My experience with purchasing LifeEar Hearing Amplifiers has been a very easy and happy experience with the delivery showing up right on schedule. The LifeEar representative contacted me before the delivery to confirm the delivery status and after the delivery to be sure that the units were received and working properly. This kind of service is exceptional in this day and age. Both of my LifeEar amplifiers are working perfectly and have performed exactly as advertised. They actually do filter out background noise while still amplifying the voices and sounds that you are trying to hear. I am very pleased with the performance of my amplifiers and with the multiple sound settings.

It's a very good product.......works just as well as my regular hearing aids that have been giving me problems since the second day I had them. Also, they cost $800 less than the hearing aids that I bought online at a discount. The only negative is that there is feedback if your volume is turned up, but that can be adjusted. The batteries seem to last a little longer (maybe a day) than my hearing aids, which is a plus. They are just slightly bigger than my previous hearing aids also, but the fit is very comfortable and the piece that goes in your ear is much more comfortable than my other hearing aid piece. I feel hearing aids are priced so high.....big mark up. Why should someone have to pay 6-8 thousand dollars for a product like a hearing aid when cell phones and computers only cost a couple of hundred dollars? Also, since this product is not considered a "hearing aid", because it is a PSAP device.....you don't need a copy of an audiogram in order to purchase it. So far so good.......I'll check back at a later date for an update.

I have been steadily losing hearing, in the upper ranges, for quiet a few years. The TV was muffled and I couldn't understand my wife if she wasn't facing me and I was speaking very loud. I finally did my research and decided that LifeEar was the one that I was willing to try. Except for not allowing the battery to fully charge the first time I used it, my experience has been very good. My voice has lowered, I can hear my clients clearly and I can hear sounds that I haven't heard in years. my wife now complains that the sound on our TV is too low. LOL. The ability to change the settings to accommodate what ever the situations are excellent.
Occasionally I get a sound backlash but I can change the setting to remedy this and is not too distracting.
Unless I show people my hearing device, none apparently can see it. The plastic ear piece fits very well and the receiver is not visible as I wear glasses. Last, the one month money back guarantee is very assuring and the staff is terrific in responding to emails.
In summary, I am very pleased with my purchase and this is based on 4 days of constant use of 12 hours or more per day.
I will re-review this again in one month.

I had one hearing aid "bernafon" brand, that I lost, it costs USD1570,oo in my country (Ecuador), looking one more cheaper, I found LifeEar hearing Amplifier in amazon, and surprisingly I am amazin with it perfomance, and only for UDS350,oo, it is also smaller than bernafon, it is almost invisible so that good by bernafon and expensive devices. only it remains to be seen duration, with price of UD350,oo I would be pleased if it last one year before it lost. Perfomance vs price I give five stars.
