This product can be filled up by recycle textile cuttings or shredding. Can also be filled up with raw cotton or any suitable filler material.40" to 47" dummies are suitable for kids. 59" to 70" dummies are suitable for adults.
  • Postures on its knees and elbows so you can prepare both quarter position/ turtle position and sprawl position procedures.
  • Keeps its legs curved a 90 degrees at the hips the way a genuine adversary does as such you get more reasonable preparing (when contrasted with the "straight legged" hooking dummy that are implied for tossing... not accommodation catching).
  • Has the legs curved at the hips, which permits you to accomplish MORE accommodation, jiu jitsu and catching strategies, than whatever other style MMA dummy, jiu jitsu dummy or hooking dummy.
  • Any dummy in sitting position may show 10-11" lesser if you lay it on floor and measure the size of flat laying dummy because the amount of actual material used is longer but due to sitting position, you may not be able to notice it if you lay it down to measure it.

Solid build. very good material. I purchase 47" blue canvas size. It's too small so I return and get 59". I think 70" is perfect.
I use the swimming noodles and 1" diameter rod to construct the skeleton arm and leg. then I put in used clothes and sand bag ( small one). I practise all kind of submission like armbars, triangle chokes, leg lock .... It turns out very good dummy. I spend about 3 hrs to build this dummy.

Was a little hesitant to order after reading reviews regarding stuffing the bag, but it was much easier than I expected. While I was waiting for my purchase to arrive I gathered up old clothing, sheets, and pillows from around the house and family members. I stuffed the legs with a mixture of cut up old material, feathers from an old pillow and stuffing from an old pillow. For the arms I just used the pillow stuffing to keep the bag from getting too heavy. For the body I put in a square pillow filled with feathers and packed in more stuffing to completely fill the body. My 14 year old son, who does Jujitsu, son loves it. I would recommend this product.

This product is built very well. I grappled with it and it can withstand the twists and punches I give it. You may have to put very thin strips of cloth and tightly pack it in the feet and legs. It was a challenge to get stuffing down there.

Arrived with no stuffing... so we had to find something to stuff with... not the best purchase but we did end up using it as a scarecrow type monster on the front porch for halloween... it would be nice if they would ahve made recommendations for what to stuff it with... we tried sand and it made it 200 lbs.. not a great idea... old clothing / rags is a good idea but good luck getting the stuffing down to the feet... IMPOSSIBLE

I just started training in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu . This thing is lagit. The grappling dummy came in relatively quick, within 3 days. Packing the dummy wasn't too difficult. I had a several bags of old baby clothes from my children on standby. I had to repack the dummy after using it for about an hour. I did not pack enough clothing in the joints. After repacking the joints. I had no problem. The legs of the dummy have a coil like effect, which i felt was great for a bunch of techniques. Armbars, Triangles from multiple positions. Mount control common side control and guard ect. I do wish the arms were a little longer. All in all, u can't beat the price and it works well....

So far, so good. It seems fairly well constructed. The only issue is stuffing it. Initially, I tried using old T-shirts, but they were too lumpy and adding a lot of weight. Eventually, I ended up using cut-up furniture moving blankets and that seemed to work fine. I noticed that if you used blankets and rolled them up a bit, then jam them into the upper arms and leave about a foot coming out of the arm and into the torso, then that supports the arm better and makes it stick straight out. I have also found those floating pool noodles also work well to keep the head and arms straight. If you used just little pieces of cloth or something, I don't think you could ever get the arms to stick straight out. This is excellent for practicing chokes and locks that you could not safely try on a person. I wish the hands were more like hands, but instead are more like stumps, but for the price, I am not complaining. Plan to spend maybe $30-40 on stuffing material if you don't have any used blankets and things around.

if you're on budget it's awesome... I filled the -legs with an old memory foam top ( duct tapped the feet shape)
- the arms are puzzle mat ends ( next to dummy)
-the torso/ head are a child's size punching bag wrapped around a child's size chest protector
