I used Glad ForceFlex for years. I refused to buy anything else. I'm a creature of habit, and I had no reason to change.

Then a few months ago I ran out and took a trip to the grocery store, where I saw a fancy new "stronger with less plastic" logo on the box.

"How can that be?" I asked the box with wonder.

"It can't," responded the ForceFlex bag, spilling cat litter all over bathroom. "Use some common sense," the bag derided me, as it put some old lasagna on my kitchen floor.

There is no sciency-magic in the new bag that lets it achieve more with less. That only works in movies with spunky little league teams. Glad probably saves a few pennies per box, and then loses my business completely. I switched to Hefty and saved myself a whole lot of heartache.

If you only throw away down feathers and packing peanuts, these bags may be up to the task. If you are a normal human, you might as well just throw your trash onto the floor next to the can, because that's where it is ending up.

I have been getting these because the don't fall in the can and they didn't tear , until now . They seem to be thinner then they were . When something works well I don't know why it isn't left alone. I guess I will have to start looking at different brands , not happy about this.

I have 3 kitchen "waste" containers... one for plastic/cans; one for paper; and one for the waste garbage. I use these garbage can shield bags... and they are GREAT!!! I would not have my kitchen without them. They DO NOT tear; they will hold a full "bag full" and not come apart... and when I take them to the dumpsters... they tie tightly, and I can "swing" them up into the dumpsters. (I am short :-) The scented Glad Bags help, especially with the "garbage can" container. I would recommend these to all who want to keep their kitchen clean and smelling fresh.
Oh yes... I do not have a husband anymore to take out my garbage... :-) so that is another reason I will always use these bags... But I suspect even the husband of the house would love these bags too!

You put trash in them. They have a slight scent, but I'm not sure how effective it is at neutralizing odors, and I don't plan on leaving garbage in them long enough to test it.They're less prone to tearing than normal trash bags, but I've had them tear from things like newspapers, which is a little disappointing, but really these are kitchen bags and not intended for heavy duty use. I am hesitant to give it four stars, since they don't really do anything that makes them stand out, but they are about the best kitchen garbage bags in a product category that seldom inspires excitement.

I like this product, but I didn't receive this one. I received the odorshields without the force flex. I have used this product before. The forceflex part of it keeps the bag from tearing.

I've been getting those on auto-delivery for a couple of years now, used to be happy with spending a bit more for a stronger bag (I use them for diapers of special needs adolescents, that gets very heavy). The last time I got them though I noticed they changed. Now they keep breaking - it is very unpleasant to say the least to pick up dirty diapers from the alley way. Whatever they changed, they shouldn't have. I'll cancel my subscription and buy cheaper bags instead.

The box I received has a place you could scratch and sniff the scent of the trash bag. It accurately portrayed the scent of the trash bags. I liked the Hawaiian Aloha scent. It was fresh and flowery, but not too strong. Blended well with the smells in my kitchen.

The Glad Force Flex bags are stretchy, but strong. They are able to hold quite a bit. Great for kitchen trash.

I was a little afraid when I purchased these that the Febreze scent would be too strong, but it really isn't. It's subtle -- you know it's there, but it doesn't knock you over. AND it definitely does cut down on unpleasant odors.

I really like these. Very strong -- they hold a LOT, and you can really cram stuff in there before it even acts like it might break. So far, the drawstrings haven't pulled out, either -- I've had that problem with other drawstring bags.

Very happy with these!
