I just got this board. I've been playing sc2 on this for about past 7 hours or so. I gotta say that this board is pretty good for how much you pay. There is a cheaper version of this board, which is the full keyboard one, but I'd say this one is worth that extra 10 dollars. Now, I own like 7 mechanical boards, and yes I am that nerd on TwitchTV who is a hardcore sc2/sc1 gamer. Comparing to some of the boards I own, this one compares well. I say this one is much better than the Razer Blackwidow Tourney edition with green switch.
The quality of the board is slightly below my CM Storm QFP tenkeyless, but better than CM Storm QFP full board. As far as comparing this to steelseries 6GV2, it is not up to that level, but this board still holds its ground. It is on the same level as the Rosewill R9000 board, but edges slightly with the compact feature along with LED lights. Obviously, this board can not compete with my WASD V1 or my DAS professional 3 (both MX Blues), for that price range of below 80 dollars, you just can't ask for much more. Even though TT esports blue switch quality is not on par with Cherry mx blues, I think it isn't too bad. I mean, my mx blue boards have that even sound throughout the entire board whereas this board does not. In other words, there are discrepancies among switch travel distances. All in all, this board is very well made, it comes with additional red key caps for added style, and with that blue LED, this board is a contender! If you are thinking about getting a board for gaming, consider this one before you consider Razer Blackwidow Tourney edition, which is the direct competitor to this one.

I'm going to do a comparison between this and the Coolermaster Quickfire Pro w/ Cherry MX Brown switches.

Let me get this out of the way first. This Tt keyboard does not use true Cherry MX Blue switches. However, these blue switches come really close to the real thing, in fact, I couldn't tell they weren't Cherry MX until someone did a teardown of the keyboard. That said, they feel really good and I have no complaints thus far.

Similarities
- they both use function keys to access the Function keys that serve as media keys
- both have windows key lockout
- both are mechanical, big and hefty keyboards (compared to rubber dome ones)
- both have tactile switches (blue being clicking and brown having a bump)

Advantages of the Poseidon Z Blue over the Quickfire Pro
- Fully backlit keyboard (can turn off, and change brighness)
- A physical key toggle that enables/disables the Windows key
- Lower height profile
- Clicking sound (I like the noise)
- Higher actuation force (50g) This is more of a personal preference
- Bottom edge of the space bar is actually tapered off, making it easier on the thumb

Advantages of the Quickfire Pro
- While only partially backlit, there's more backliting settings (lit up the WASD only, fading brighness mode)
- Bigger keys (less cramped for your hands)
- Adjustable polling rate (max is 1ms/1,000Hz)
- quieter actuation (not as noisy, but if you type hard and bottom out the keys, it's still loud)
- Lower actuation force (45g) although in a hectic game, might be easier to actuate a key by accident

After 2 month of using the Poseidon Z, I like it a lot more than the Quickfire Pro but namely because I love the feel of the blue switches. And also the lower height profile makes it slightly easier on the wrist.

I was kind of leery about ordering this keyboard since i could not find a "Brown" switch edition on Thermaltake's site for the ZX version, and i only saw a few sellers for the ZX Brown switch. I received the keyboard today and it does in fact have the brown switches. I have attached a picture of the box.

I bought this keyboard 4 months ago, and was very very please with its performance. I experienced no problems until last week, when I began to experience very frequent chatter that is only getting worse. It is mainly on the spacebar key. 70% of the time, when I press the spacebar, it will register as two spaces instead of one. You can probably nnotice it in my typing (as well as that last N key chatter). I bought this product without an amazon account, and did not keep the receipt, as I thought that, after 3 months, I had nothing to worry about. I was wrong. I cannot rebuy, at the moment, and clearly cannot RMA, so I am just hoping that someone from Tt decides to comment on my post and tell me of any kind of software worrkaround for this, as I've been searching, relentlessly, for the past few days. Thanks in advance.

Pros

- Brightest RGB keyboard out right now
- 5 year warranty
- No frills keyboard
- Price
- Can assign each key to different color

Cons

- Software is a bit slow and looks like it needs an update
- Kailh brown switches (issue for some, not me)
- non braided/ non gold contact usb cable
- no wrist pad

I've been using this keyboard for about a month now and I gotta say i'm pleasantly surprised. I switched from using cherry mx blue switches to these Kailh brown switches because I wanted something that wasn't as clicky as the blue switches and so far they have been excellent. I'm not sure what other people are complaining about saying the the Kailh switch is inferior, they are rated with the same 50 million keystroke lifecycle as the Cherry switches (are also clones of the cherry switches) and Thermaltake offers a 5 year warranty on this keyboard. What you get with this keyboard is a full key mechanical keyboard with RGB lighting that allows you to get top notch performance and have a custom look to complete your setup. I am not a Pro Gamer but I am quite good and yet I feel all those extra features a lot of the other keyboards offer are useless and just a money grab. I could easily recommend this keyboard at the current listed price of 79.99 and can go as far as to say that for this price, you will not find a better keyboard.
