These are amazing! Some pieces are more toasty than others, but they all have a nice bit of brownness on them. They are more crispy than regular cheez-its, and have that slightly bitter burnt taste that I, personally, adore. I hope they never stop making these!

Seriously!? This is my second box, the first box was great! But now....Why is extra toasty not even toasty in the slightest bit? The box says extra toasty, so tell me where that "extra" part comes in! Theyre all regular cheez its! the ones in the picture were pulled out back to back, i didnt pick and choose any. Extra toasty my @$$

Some Cheez It are more toaster than others as the "extra toasty" advertised is not consistent.

Even if you get lucky and grab a handful of extra toasty ones after eating a few in a row, it starts tasting the same as regular Cheez It as your taste buds get accustomed to the raw taste.

Seeing this, the extra toasty-ness is better picked out if you make your own trail mix, so your mouth doesn't get used to the same taste/texture.

Overall same great taste as the original, may have some non extra toasty strays in the batch.

I hadn't heard of extra toasty Cheez-It crackers, but inasmuch as I'll eat anything that has a Cheez-It label on it, I tried these and they are terrific. It's going to be difficult for me to choose among the five different boxes that I have, but I'll manage and hopefully will not get on the scale in the morning. Cheez-It crackers really taste like cheese and that's why I'll continue to purchase them.

Glad to have a box of mostly "darker" aka extra toasty ones! Let me say though that I have gotten boxes with not as many in it for my liking. And I've had boxes that I wish would never end. It is the same thing that happens with saltine crackers...sometimes you get them with salt on them (they are saltines after all) and then sometimes you wonder if they ran out of salt at the factory!

This is one of my favorites, like them "toasty". However even though the shipping package appears good, there were many that were broken. I won't buy from Amazon again. Gave them 5 stars because the shipping has no affect on the taste and is not the fault of the maker of Cheez-it.

These are so yummy, just like regular cheezits, but the extra toasty feature makes them even tastier.
They have a bit more of that salty/savory cheese flavor. I just had some for breakfast!

A crumbly mess. Also, calling these toasty is totally false. A few dark cheez-it's were mixed in with the standard cheez-it. Purchasing the regular ones is just as well. Poor shipping from Amazon, probably 2 handfuls of whole crackers and the rest were crumbs.
