We bought this set mainly for the weights. Its a short bar (5 feet), but the weights alone are worth the selling price so I think its still a good deal. Note that the bar in this set is actually a 3 piece bar you put together yourself; so its not a solid bar.

Great weight set. The bar is OK, not great. But it does the job. The weights however are beautiful and have nice glossy finish that makes it easy to wipe sweat or dirt of them. I ended up buying two sets because the price was spot on. Highly recommend this to my friends that workout but don't always have time to get to the gym. After a long day, you can workout your arms while watching TV instead of running to the gym showering and then driving home.

The weight set just arrived. It is missing a 5 lb weight and also the barbell is in 3 pieces, and on the instructions it mentions 2 taper pins to put bar together, those did not come either. So missing 2 pins, and a 5 lb weight. Such BS.

Bar is a three piece job, less than 5' long, and there's less than 36" between plates. Useless on a mid-width bench. Plates have an extremely slick finish, too. Probably good for corrosion resistance, as it's thick.

The weights are very solid and made of good hard materials. The bar on the other hand is made up of 3 separate metal parts that you have to connect together by aligning the holes and inserting a locking pin mechanism. I'm not too happy with the bar due to this, but the weights are worth the price. I would recommend getting another bar that's more solid and comes in one metal solid piece.

Bar did not go together smoothly. It also has sharp edges where the pins go in to connect the bar. I'll probably be replacing the bar but weights themselves are ok.
