This small back pack is great! It has many pockets to fit a phone, wallet, chapstick, keys and other gadgets. It's the perfect size for an outing that doesn't require much packing. You could easily fit a book, bottle of water and some dry snacks. It's lightweight and fashionable. I do agree with another reviewer about the straps not having enough padding for shoulder support if you are wearing a tank top or summer clothes. It's perfectly fine over a light jacket or long sleeve, but I could see the straps being slightly bothersome on bare skin. Regardless, this is a great little bag for the price, and I'm happy with it!

Cute backpack - however, the material was rough. If I hadn't used the bag I would have returned it to Amazon. I gave it away after using it twice.
The size was exactly what I wanted and I bought the backpack in black with the dots, cute. As I stated before the material was extremely rough, I held the straps on my arm and it felt like sandpaper was rubbing against my skin.

perfect purse size for everyday use. I have had several Dakine backpacks and they never wear out! i throw them around and have had a few for years that are still in amazing shape. Others the zipper goes after a while or it frays, Not Dakine. I don't know what they do to make them so durable i just know they last forever.

I found out about the Dakine brand through my friend who let me use one of her backpacks for a DisneyLand trip I did in October 2015 . I love the quality and size so much I looked for one of my own. I absolutely love this bag! This design in particular is beautifully bright with vibrant colors, with out being too obnoxious. I bought this bag in hope of using it for more trips, as well as for my job. I am a Teacher and child development program where during the summer we go on long walking field trips. I have not had the opportunity to use it for a field trip yet, but I recently used it during another trip where I visited DisneyLand, California Adventure and Universal Studios in Souther California. And this bag held up to all of my expectations.
Pros: As you can see in the photos, it is quite small. Yet it can hold many things! In the large main pocket it held a 20 oz water bottle, a Red Bull, a full bag of gold fish, two bottles of sunscreen. And a few more items.
In the small "organizer pocket" it had a perfect pocket to fit my phone one small mesh pocket witch held my spare key, and the large mesh pocket that held a charging stick, charging cables, park maps and more. The zippers are strong and glide easily.

Cons: With how much stuff I had in this back pack, and a lot of it being water weight, it was a bit heavy, but as the day went and we drank the water and ate the snacks it got a lot lighter.

Love this back pack. So perfectly adorable and small. None of the issues others ran in to. The key clip is a little hidden but once I found it in the pocket I loved the great thinking and security of my keys.

This is my 2nd Dakine. They are attractive and useful. It has 2 separate zippered areas, I use the front smaller one for smaller items, and the large back one for larger items. Great for travel too.
