This is nice model and I've always had a fondness for the 'flying box' school of design. The First Order Transport is basically a WWII landing barge in space and the sculpting captures that well.

Unfortunately the paint job is very basic, a quick bit of shading or ink would make the textures easier to see. I had a similar complaint about the First Order Star Destroyer.

And the new bases are an annoyance since they don't match the other bases in my Star Wars collection.

Ah well, it's still OK.

Nice detail. However the balance is off so it tilts forward if you place it on a table without the stand. Not to mention the stand itself is cheap looking.

I don't care for my First Order Star Destroyer at all, and posted a one-star review to that end. HOWEVER, this thing is a gem. The scale is lovely, the detailing is excellent, and it even has functional play value with the working loading ramp door. Can it sit on its landing gear? Nope... but that's why they included a display stand! I love mine and would buy another in a heartbeat.
