This pasta is a good way to get my little toddler to eat her veggies. It has a fair amount of vegetables within the recipe, but that doesn't really affect the flavor that much. It's a very mild flavor if anything, and once you put the pasta sauce on it it tastes just fine. I don't usually cook this pasta al dente for the simple reason that little kids like soft pasta, but I am sure that you could also get it to be a little more al dente and toss it with some sauteed vegetables for a really healthy pasta primavera. A product you can feel good about feeding to kids.

Great way to get extra veggies into my kids without them noticing! They love eating the "rainbow" pasta, and it makes me feel better they're getting a healthier meal. Cooks easily and no real texture difference for use from regular wheat pasta. It's a little pricier that just whole wheat, but worth it for the added veggies!

Pros: Cooks as it should following the directions.

Cons: Taste can be a little off-putting if the recipe used calls for regular pasta.

The pasta does have a good flavor, but it is distinct and different from regular pasta, and there are recipes that it would be less desirable to use this pasta over a regular variety.

I prefer to buy veggie pasta or whole grain pasta as there is more nutrition. This is a tasty veggie pasta which is made with spinach and zucchini. I like to cook ground turkey, add onions, carrots, zucchini, peppers, mushrooms and spinach - occasionally baked eggplant - and add a spaghetti sauce and mix in these cooked veggie noodles. Yum! Here's what the company wants you know about this pasta:

This is a great pasta with sauces that have a bit of textue, as the sauce and bits of meat are able to stick to all the curves. I ended up purchasing this with some Prime Pantry promotion credits, but I would say you should check out Publix before commiting to buying over Amazon. I’ve found Publix often sells this brand of pasta for BOGO (or, half off if you only want to get one).

This veggies rotini is definitely a great way to add more vegetables to your diet if you’re like me, and basically eat one serving of veggies a day. Personally, I can’t tell TOO much of a discenrible difference between this kind of pasta and whole wheat or regular pasta. But then again, I do try and almost always get veggies pasta anyways, so maybe I’m just used to the taste.

These arrived in great condition, with little to no breakage in the pasta pieces.
