This is softer more flexible silicone than I am used to in my molds so I had to support the mold on a small cookie sheet. I used marshmallow fondant over-pressed and trimmed off so the "string" connection would be as thick as possible. I froze the fondant for several hours and the string popped out in one piece. Because of the high sugar content the fondant was still flexible enough to mold the string around a cake but firm enough to not need powdered sugar to release.

Great product and great seller. I ordered this knowing it wasn't eligible for prime and it would take a bit longer to s*** and i was disappointed that i ordered it so late and it wouldn't arrive in time for what I had planned with it. Imagine my surprise when it arrived 2 days later on a Saturday!!! It worked out great and I was able to use it for a cake project I was working on for that same day! The item itself is very durable and it looks great. The only thing I would mention is that I did expect the Pearls to be a bit bigger and because of the size of them it was very hard to cut them into pearl shapes so I had to leave a straight border around the bottom and top of it.

The pearls are misshapen and they are different in size even in the same row. The string does not stay attached, and the smallest size is impossible to remove and the worst of the three sizes as far as being misshapen. Should have considered the reviews before buying.

Was very disappointed with is product!! The pearls came out one by one and would not stay as a string pearl. I also tried freezing it and it still came out one by one. The material itself is very flimsy!!

Too small. I'm guessing that the marketing strategy with these molds, is that you'll need to by several in order to get the job done. most of them are so tiny ( they don't tell you that little fact, unless you are familiar with Centimeters,which not everyone is) This product only works with fondant and if you don't have the time to fill each tiny hole exactly right, I don't recommend it.
