I have three of these. They all have one major flaw that is pretty important. It is advertised as dishwasher safe. However, after a few trips through the dishwasher water gets up into the plastic area of the top of the mug. When taken out of the dishwasher and turned right side up, the water flows back into the mug - and it is not just water. It is the murky water that went through the early stages of the wash. This means either it can't be washed in the dishwasher, or it has to be washed and dried again (and the top part drained) before use (which would take much more effort than just hand-washing). Handwashing is not a huge deal, but it it is when it can't be used and washed as advertised without seals loosening up. I have two 20 oz Yeti mugs and while they are probably pretty overpriced for what they are, they are simple and do the job with no plastic in the mug (just the top).

When new, this was a great mug - kept my coffee hot for a couple hours (really) and the sealed lid kept everything inside. But (and this is a big one) the design of the gray flap the covers the opening on the lid is faulty.Within a few weeks of normal usage, the nibs holding the flap on the lid wore down and now the flap is useless rendering one of the best features (spill proof, heat retention) inoperable. (This same defect has been reported on other Bubba products that utilize the same lid design)

To make matters worse, when I reached out to Bubba for a replacement under their "guaranteed for life" warranty, I was told I had to send in the whole cup and then wait 8-10 WEEKS for a replacement. Really?! Who would go to the trouble, time and expense for a $15 mug? Send me just a replacement lid? NOPE. Can I buy one and get refund when I return defective one? (So I won't have to be without a cup for 10 weeks) NOPE.

So, to sum it up, great product. Just don't expect it to last very long or for Bubba Brands to back it with any sort of practical warranty.

I use this mug for my coffee while I take my morning walk on the beach and it leaks every time that I go to take a drink. It has from the start, no matter how tight the lid is. For that reason alone I'll stick with Thermos brand.

Keeps coffee warm for very very long and that to me is well worth it. They need to consider redoing the lid so it doesn't break and the whole mug needs to be tossed. I usually have to buy a new one every 6 months or so, but worth the money considering the use I do get out of it!

I have recently purchased a bubba mug from WalMart. Every day I use this mug for coffee. The mug keeps the coffee so hot for so long that after I fill my mug I have to leave the lid off for about twenty minutes so it can cool down a little bit. It takes me roughly three hours to finish my coffee and it stays the perfect temperature the entire time.

The drinking spout is great. There is a nice even flow. I had a different brand of coffee mug before this one and the coffee would gush out when it started flowing. The flap that covers the drinking hole is also great. When you open it, it clicks into place on the top of the mug so when you are drinking it does not fall down onto your nose. Then when you close it, it snaps firmly into place so your coffee does not leak out.

The overall design of the mug was well thought out. The bottom of the mug is made of a material that will keep it from sliding on the table. I have a lot of things I need to load in my car so I put the mug on the roof. My old mug would slide on the curve of the roof of the car but this one stays firmly in place and does not move. Also, because the handle does not connect on the bottom it can fit into my cup holders and in the side pouch of my book bag.

I have not used the mug for anything cold yet so I don’t know how it stands up to the claim that it stays cold for 24 hours.

The only thing I have an issue with is that the lid can be a little hard to twist off. I know this is to ensure nothing leaks out of the lid so I will gladly take that compromise.

Love this mug. Nice deep sipping region so you don't burn yourself on hot liquid. Keeps it hot for a long time. It also tightens to a positive stop with a 360 degree twist. This keeps you from having to guess how tight to make it and prevents damage to the seal. When putting the cap on, you can start from one of two positions, 180 degrees apart, and it will end up in the same position you started. This allows you to use either left or right hand on the handle, or if you don't want to use the handle, put the cap on in the reverse orientation and grip the cup body with your hand. Mine is fairly new, so I haven't experienced any wear issues such as are reported by others, but after using it for a couple of weeks, I really like it, and it seems well constructed.

Bubba make bests travel mugs ever !!!! I own one and I bought one for my hubby and he also completly satisfed with it . Keep hot tea forever( after 6 hour its still hot) we have been tried several brands before , and all of them have issues. Bubba 100% perfect ! And leack proof ! You can even turn it upsidedown and it will never leack. Best mug.
