My newest pet peeve is Amazon reviews that were paid for with free merchandise. Almost makes me want to stop shopping at Amazon. Unbiased reviews are the reason I started shopping at Amazon & still one of the primary reasons I do so. They definitely make me distrust such reviews. I had a hard time finding a carafe like this without paid reviews, which made choosing one difficult. This was a very poor choice. It's too small (holds only 2 large glasses of liquid); the lid is WAY too loose (I just dumped its entire contents on the floor for the second time, prompting me to come write a review)--it doesn't even make ANY contact with the body of the carafe!! The lid is cheap plastic. It has no way of keeping refrigerator odors out (which I knew before purchase, but it's still a disadvantage). I didn't need another pitcher.....I wanted one I could make fruit water with. This one is a failure in that regard. It would be easier to use a (larger) pitcher I already have with a mesh strainer I already have.

Beautiful looking Water Pitcher.

I bought this for the reason I had nothing to serve water in when guests came over... yes that is sad...

This is a great pitcher, I had purchased one earlier however it was too bulky and did not look so great when it arrived (online pictures looked wonderful though). This pitcher holds about 40-45 ounces as opposed to the 50 it actually claims (it might hold that much however you wouldn't be able to put the lid on at that point).

Thought this is a great looking pitcher it does have a couple of flaws:
- The glass on this pitcher feels a bit thin and i have to remember to be careful when placing it down so I do not break it
- The steel lid on the top of the pitcher does not fit as snugly as I would like it to and when pouring I need to hold the lid in place so it does not come off.

All in all I think this is a great pitcher and I would recommend this product.

I was provided a sample product for my unbiased and honest review.

This pitcher is made with borosilicate glass, so I can be assured of its safety.

I love the stainless steel cap, usually pitchers have plastic tops, but I would be concerned by the BPA.

It holds a big 50 ounces of water, perfect for parties, or just regular holder for beverages.

The handle is very large and easy to grip.

The glass actually seems a little thin, so I would be careful on setting it down on the table.

Nice product - great for making fruit-infused water. But one major problem: it tends to break when drying it. The top is smaller than the bottom, so when you put it upside down to dry it is unstable. The glass is thin and easily broken.

One solution is to use a decanter drying stand. For example, this one Oenophilia Decanter Drying Stand is slightly over $7.00. The carafe is slightly under 10" tall so a drying stand taller than that should be sufficient. This stand is said to be about 12" tall.

Precisely as pictured and described as well as excellent in every respect. It offers an inherently stable form, in a handy medium size. Should I ever need another such sized pitcher, I'd certainly not hesitate to buy another of these. As it is, should the manufacturer be "listening," I'd like to add one in a larger, say, 3L, version. Please, do just scale-up this model -- don't even think about trying to "improve" it.

Because it is made with borosilicate glass, I can pour hot water directly into it to make tea. It looks nice unlike other pitchers that have plastic, brightly colored lids. It is exactly what I was looking for. It does ship from China, but the shipping was free and the shipping time was not extended.
