    Geval women's wind proof pants are decent quality. It had arrived a lot sooner than the Amazon estimated ship date and I had received the product within a week or two. Sizing wise, definitely take a look at the size chart. I normally wear a size 0-2 and a small was actually too loose in the butt area. On the label it's listed as Asia XL? The material was good quality and decent for the price of the product. I would buy this again in a different size if I had more time before my Iceland trip. Customer service was timely when i asked to return the product.

    Just received my pants and I do love them! I ordered a medium from the size chart that was provided and they fit great. They sent me an XXL which is the size I needed according to the manufacturer's sizing and as per the seller's explanation. Do not fear the discrepancy in the size you normally wear and the size that you will receive. It may be a hard on the ego but I'll survive. The only reason I didn't give these pants 5 stars is simply because they are high waisted. I haven't worn high waisted pants since the early 90's. However I think they will be perfectly suited for Spring Break skiing. Oh and just for a reference I am 5'6" and I weigh 140lbs. :-)

    I just received these pants and wanted to put up a review on the fit, since I found others' reviews very helpful while purchasing!

    I really love the style of these. They're definitely slim fit - when I first put them on I was sure they'd be too constricting, but when I walked around in them, I had full freedom of movement and don't suspect any issues when I take them outside.

    I'm 5'4", 130 lbs and I ordered a SMALL

    Still waiting for snow to test their waterproof-ness, but I'm very pleased so far!

    I loooooved these pants! I bought these and a pair of traditional "puffy" pants for a ski trip to CO.
    Warmth: Temps were -9 to 24. I wore these pants with a Patagonia capeline baselayer. I should have stuck with just plain cheap leggings underneath, I was a little overly toasty (in a delicious but sweaty way). I had my coat unzipped most of the time skiing from the warmth. Some of the nights that we went out I just wore these downtown like jeans with no baselayer. (We walked everywhere in town)
    Bottom sealing around boot: My friends kept asking "what about the bottoms?!" when I showed them the pants. When I got dressed, they understood. The cuffs fit over your boots like a dream, even ski boots. With the ski boots I did the inner part of the boot, pant, then the Velcro boot strap thing over.
    Knee: I loved the articulated knee. I am average height 5'5" .. the knee hit perfectly and has room for variance if you are taller or shorter. The movement felt so much more "free" than puffy pants. Love.
    High Waisted: These are high waisted and you do get a lil belly pooch when sitting. This is not noticeable when fully clothed and allows for range of motion when skiing. I think if they changed the cut to eliminate it completely, your pants might come down when skiing. My puffy pants gave me a worse pooch, so I think it happens with active pants. One of my friends tried these on after I raved about them. She is as tall as I am but has a more generous backside (mine is average). The fit shifted from pooch to a slight crotch sag from the extra material redistributed to her rump. It still worked fine on her.
    Material: the material was the part that I was most nervous about, and I knew it was fine as soon as I opened the packaging.    Read more ›

    These pants are great. I wore them sledding and hiking in mountain snow for over 4 hours and my legs were perfectly warm and dry! I did wear nike cold weather leggings underneath. I am 5'6" ~120 lbs with slender legs and an athletic torso so I ordered an XS and received size L as expected from the description and these fit pretty well. They're a bit large around the waist but they come up so high (medium rise, didn't come up over my belly button) that I didn't have a problem with them falling down. There are belt loops so it is possible to wear a belt with them. The legs are tapered, meaning they're not extra wide or elasticized at the bottom, but I had no trouble pulling them down over my snow boots and they stayed put fine. I did feel that if I had exchanged for a smaller size they would have been too short for this. But I have long legs. I hope this helps, these pants really are great if you can figure out your size!

    If you go by the measurements they supply, the fit is accurate. However, i thought the bottom of the legs would be a slim fit type but it looked more like a bootcut pant. The quality however was impressively good, though had to return bc not the style i was looking for.

    I got the correct size. I was able to put them on. The material was nice and had a good amount of stretch but still very supportive and tick enough to be warm. However, the cut seems to fit only one body type. The pants are cut with a larger front than back. They seem to be made for people with no rear and a belly.
    I am 5'3" and thin; definitely not curves but I do have a rear end and I do nt have a belly. The pants were so uncomfortable in the back and I had tons of extra fabric in the front where the pants went up many inches higher and created what looked like a pregnancy pouch. Felt like they were cut for kids. I'm going to try to return them since I couldn't wear them but I'm not sure if they'll take it. Don't order these unless you're flat on the back and have a belly. I thought with the stretch they would work but they didn't. I couldn't even sit with them on. They are also cut short, which was nice for me but probably not nice for the average person.
