This nozzle is fantastic. I can already tell, that it will last longer than any of the plastic trash sold at big box stores. I have purchased many nozzles in the last year from Home Depot, OSH, Lowes, and nurseries. They all sell the same private label, lousy, fragile nozzles. I have been so worked up buying nozzles. So worked up I have actually been dreaming of designing my own nozzle, that never breaks, and putting it out to market. These companies are selling garbage nozzles for the sake of profit with plastic parts that break. I won't be buying 5 nozzles a year anymore.

This one is solid. And I have confidence in this nozzle. Confidence in a nozzle for the first time. I most recently owned a Gilmour, all metal pistol grip nozzle. It seized up. I had thought that nozzle was the best, and maybe at one time it was. But Gilmour products are not what they used to be.

I bought this sprayer for my husband...mostly...lol. It came on time and was well packaged. My husband and I were both very impressed by how heavy, strong and sturdy it is. My husband "played" with it for a while. He loves it! It works fantastic! Now I can't wait for my turn. As if that wasn't enough to get a five star rating the company went above and beyond to follow-up with us. They wanted to make sure we got it on time and to see if we had any concerns or questions about the sprayer. I think what really impressed me was the wording of their email. I could tell it wasn't a form letter...they really cared. On top of that it came from one of the owners, Regis Friend Cassidy...WOW! That's customer service! He, Mr. Cassidy, gave me contact information for any questions I may have in the future. I WILL buy from this company again!!!

Regis from M&R Industries has given me phenomenal customer service! As a result, I have no choice but to update my original review (see below) to five stars!

He went above and beyond to resolve all of my concerns to make me a very satisfied customer. I now have no doubt that M&R stands 100% behind this hose nozzle. In addition, because of my questions regarding the rotating bezel, I was sent a second nozzle (which seems perfect).

Bottom line: This is the nozzle to purchase for all of your watering needs and M&R Industries will take care of you!

Original review:
Have high hopes for this nozzle but one thing I don't like and a few concerns.

First, what I don't care for are the icon symbols on the bezel for the various settings. Text would have been easier to understand. I guess I will get used to the symbols after using the nozzle several times but I find that all of the symbol meanings are not obvious. This is relatively minor and not the reason for a four star review.

My first concern is that the card that the nozzle was attached to was bent and torn when it was delivered. I was only able to test the nozzle for about five minutes and it seemed OK. However, why the poor condition of the card? I hope there is no hidden damage to the nozzle.

My next concern is that rotating the bezel produces a satisfying click in one direction only. There is no click when rotating in the opposite direction. Is this normal? Why would it click in one direction only?

My other concern is with the lifetime warranty. No where on the card that the nozzle was attached to is this stated. Why not? This makes me wonder if the lifetime warranty is legit.

Will this nozzle be durable? I just don't know based on my concerns stated above.

I'm going to go ahead and give this one 5 stars, although I just started using them today (I bought two, one for the front yard, one for the back). I've bought countless nozzles/sprayers over the years, and without exception they all either break or start leaking. Time will tell on this one. The build quality is very nice, but I will remain skeptical until it proves that it can be dropped nearly daily on our concrete patio and driveway without chipping or breaking (which I figure should be normal wear for anyone who waters or washes a car). It has a rubber ring around the spray head that I hope will absorb such "abuse." The choice of different sprays is a plus. I like the solid "click" it makes between settings. When I screwed it onto the hose for the first time, I fully expected that the o-ring would leak at least a little (they all do) ..... but to my surprise, this one didn't. Full pressure and no leaks. I do wish this one came with some sort of rubberized finger trigger, but it's fine as-is, and I'll get used to it. If SprayTec has designed an adjustable nozzle sprayer that doesn't leak and doesn't break and can stand the test of time, then they will be the first. I am hopeful.

2nd Update- Within 24 hours of posting previous updated review (below), the company emailed me to let me know that they are sending me a replacement. I am really impressed, because I didn't contact them at all. Their email was genuinely caring and professional. They even included an instruction on how to fix mine, if I felt like fixing it and keep on using it ( they know of one more case like mine). I'm impressed with their customer service.

Update- after three months, the spring release doesn't work anymore- water won't stop. I used it fairly gently (no dropping it to the ground), used it to water 2-3 times a week. It should have lasted longer than 3months. I no longer recommend it.

Oringinal review-
Watering plants is now a chore I'm looking forward to. It was expensive ($25), but well worth it. A quality product. Highly recommend it.
