I waited a long time before trying BlueAnt products and I had such high hopes for the Q3i but it left me flat. I have been using earpieces for almost 20 years now and this one didn't live up to what is considered standard today. The fit, function and battery life of this earpiece are all very disappointing. I wear and use them all day long so I need something that will last and be functional. This did neither.

This unit touts something called Voice Command. This leads you to believe that you can use voice commands to control your phone like you can with other earpieces keeping with the normal standards. That just isn't the case and is very misleading in the description as to what it does. It doesn't do much anything but access either Siri or Google Now. Other headsets I have owned in the past had their own software that accessed my phonebook like the Jawbone Icon, Plantronics or Motorola (all of which I have owned multiples) that just worked right out of the box and made a call when you told it to AND to whom you told it to. This earpiece doesn't work like any of the others, doesn't have the battery life and doesn't fit my ear well at all with its 15 year old or more ear bud technology.
The sound was good if you could keep it in your ear, however, as mentioned in my last statement, that was difficult as well. This earpiece could be very good if they would correct the short comings and update the technology.
I couldn't get the battery to last a full day, call anything other than the last incoming call or get it to stay in my ear.

I am very disappointed with my long awaited first experience with BlueAnt and will be returning it for something that does what it says and lasts more than three quarters of a day. My two cents, buy any of the aforementioned earpieces for less money and a better experience.

Crystal clear sound, very good at rejecting outside noise and understanding voice commands. Easy to set up and learn commands. Very easy to pick up calls while driving and talk hands-free. Ear hook is a little insecure - that's the only complaint I have. I bought a spare set of two extra ear hooks, just in case the original one breaks. So far after three months, have not had to use the spare ear hooks.

Compared to other hands-free earpieces I have owned, this one is the best clarity and noise rejection. The Motorola earpieces I owned before had more secure ear clips.

I've had this a month. It's only the 3rd ear piece I've ever owned. Motorola's ear piece was more comfortable but I did not like the bright blue stabbing light that Motorola ear piece put out. The BlueAnt Q3i is much more discrete. I when I changed from a Rumor to a LG G3 smart phone with voice texting I wanted an ear piece that would accommodate that feature. Well, so far it's not worked the best. I'm just learning smart phone features though so I'm not giving up just yet. When a call comes in, I can say "answer" and have great voice quality. When I try to tell it to call "so and so" I get dead air most of the time but sometimes I get a male gender voice... and then others I get a female gender voice. I think the male gender is the Blue Ant device. The female gender voice is some app on the LG G3 phone trying to do something but conflicting with the Blue Ant. Voice/microphone and ear/incoming voice quality is very good. Better than the motorola. I'm struggling with the "make a call" using voice command stuff. The BlueAnt goes a long way on one charge. The BlueAnt is a breeze to install on the phone. The paper instructions were weak but I figured it out.

This is an EXCELLENT 5-start headset, BUT, and this is very, very important: NO CHARGER! These are shipping (at least from AWS Wireless) with no more than a USB to microUSB cable. My last BlueAnt came with its dedicated charger, but no more! Note: This was not an "open box" or "refurbished" model, and it came in the original BlueAnt packaging, and so that may just be the way they all come from now on. Be sure to check out or ask "WHAT COMES IN THE PACKAGE."
