Important Information

Ingredients
Hard Wax: Glyceryl Rosinate, Cera Alba, Chlorophyll Post Wax Cleansing Wipes: Isopropyl myristate, jojoba oil, chamomile oil

Directions
1. WARM THE WAX Warm up the wax alone in the center of the microwave for 3 minutes. If wax has not thoroughly melted, heat again for 30 second intervals. Heat wax to a consistency of honey/gel & retain that consistency throughout process. Insert the spatula into the wax and stir gently and carefully from the center towards the sides of the jar to blend the wax temperature in order to obtain the ideal application consistency. 2. VERIFY TEMPERATURE ALWAYS test wax temperature before use. Contents, pot & handle may be extremely HOT and can cause burns if handled incorrectly. After stirring the wax with the spatula for approximately 30 seconds, verify the wax temperature by carefully applying a small amount of wax to the inner part of the wrist. If wax is too hot, allow it to cool off before verifying the temperature again on the inside of your wrist. 3. APPLICATION In order to obtain best results, hair should be at least 1/4" long. The skin must be dry and free of creams, lotions, deodorants, oils, and sweat before applying wax strip onto skin. Use a thin layer of talcum powder if underarm area is moist. Using the flat side of the spatula, take an amount of wax equivalent to the size of a nut. Rotate the spatula to avoid dripping. Without applying too much pressure, spread a fairly THICK layer of wax and extent immediately and slowly in the direction of hair growth. Leave wax thicker & rounded at outer edges to make removal easier. 4. REMOVAL Allow wax to dry for about 30 seconds, but do not let it get too hard. If wax hardens too much, it becomes brittle & difficult to remove. Lift the outer edge and peel off in the opposite direction as hair growth with one hand while tautening the skin with the other. When you are removing the wax, you must do it QUICKLY (like ripping a band-aid off) and in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF HAIR GROWTH. Peel wax off as close and parallel to the skin as possible. 5. AFTER CARE Use cleansing towelette to clean the skin.

My hair grows so fast on my underarms and I have to shave everyday or my hair is very noticeable. It is embarrassing to have long underarm hair that everyone can see. I get tired of shaving everyday just to see that all my hair has grown back the next day just like a jungle, thick and bushy. I wanted to try something that would give me better results and keep my hair from growing back so fast. I had never used wax before and I thought I would try it.

This all natural hard wax comes with an instruction booklet for you to read so you know the proper way to use this product. It is actually simple to do after you read the book. Heat the wax container in your microwave for three minutes until the wax is melted, I had to heat mine for four minutes because my microwave is older and doesn't heat as well anymore. Then you stir the wax with the wooden spatula and make sure it is all melted but not too hot. Apply a fairly thick layer of the wax with the spatula in the direction of your hair growth. Let it sit for about 30 seconds.

Now comes the fun part! Lift the outer edges of the wax up with one hand and hold your skin tight with the other. Pull off the wax like a Band-Aid, as quickly as you can. Luckily I am not very sensitive to pain so it didn't bother me when I ripped it off but some might find it painful so if you have a very low pain threshold I probably wouldn't use wax. My hair was instantly pulled out and stuck in the wax. It was kind of cool to see all the hair sticking out of the wax. I was amazed that it got it all out and.

After all that you want to use the cleansing towel to sooth and clean your skin. I had a little redness but not much. This wax is so great and it can prevent my hair from growing back for up to eight weeks!

I always had waxing done by professionals. As quick fix, I shave sometimes. Tired of shaving, I decided to wax at home on my own. Soft sugar wax worked ok for hands & legs, but a flop for my thick underarm hair. Was looking for hard wax and bought BodyHonee hard wax kit. This is the first ever hard wax I used. My observations:
Easy portability, comes in a small box (wax in a container, applicator and 2 cleansing wipes)
Warming wax is easy. Its microwavable.
Mess free - no strips needed.
Pleasant smell.
Painful while ripping. (As with any waxing technique)
Didnt irritate my skin. Leaves skin soft after waxing.
If wax falls on clothing, etc. cleaning takes time.
Overall, this wax worked well. Lasted for four underarm applications. I would buy it again.

FANTASTIC!!!

This deserves 5 stars. Here are some simple tricks to help:

Exfoliate and cleanse VERY well before waxing. I usually mix baking soda and soap to form a paste, scrub, then repeat a couple of times.
Use a blow dryer to REALLY dry whatever area you're waxing (in this case, I did my underarms), and then use corn starch to lightly powder the area.

Basically from there you follow the directions in the kit. Follow them EXACTLY. The only complain I'd have is that I had to constantly put this in the microwave, but no biggie. I can get two uses out of one!

p.s. wax the area ONCE. for underarms especially this might be tempting due to different hair growth, but the rest are better off tweezing as this is pretty intense.

I have two teenage daughter and the summer months become very expensive for me. They are always asking me for money to wax their underarms or their legs or their lip. It seems like every week one of them needs waxing. I received this hard wax just in time. My daughter just asked me for money to wax her underarms.
I was very excited to try this product. I have never used wax before, so I was a little afraid.
This could not have been easier. I just popped the container of wax into the microwave for the recommended 3 minutes followed by 30 second intervals, until the wax was the consistency of honey.
I made sure the wax was not too hot and then I applied a thick layer to the hair under my daughters arm in the same direction as the hair was growing.
I waited 30 seconds, lifted the edge slightly and pulled of the wax in the opposite direction. (No fabric strips needed!)
It really removed the entire hair as I saw all the follicles on the hair attached to the wax. I was amazed by how great it worked. Her underarms were sloth and hair free. The wax smelled very pleasant and was easy to apply and remove.
My daughter said it hurt less than the traditional waxing with the fabric strips.
Her skin was not red or irritated and it usually is after a wax at the salon.
I let the wax harden and wrapped it up for the next time we need it.
It looks like I will be able to wax her underarms at least 4-5 times with this one package. That saves me a lot of money. Plus it saves me from having to drive to the salon every time they need something waxed. I am so happy that I received this product free for testing purposes in order to share my honest and unbiased review.

When the packaging says only microwave for 3 minutes, listen. I thought that the whole jar had to be liquified. Turns out only the top layer should liquified, and the majority should stay solid until some wax has been applied and removed. Then you can melt some more. Attempting to microwave for longer than 3 minutes or trying to liquify more than the top layer will likely result in the jar melting, then the wax will pour out onto the microwave tray. At that point, you might try to scoop up all the wax from the tray mixed with oily food bits and smear it all over yourself at once before it solidifies, instead of in intervals, causing the initially applied wax to harden on your skin beyond 30 seconds, which will make it a nightmare to get off, and won't remove hair as well either. As long as you don't do any of that then you're fine, it should work well I imagine. But I think a beginner would have an easier time with strips, so I'm gonna get the kind with strips next time.
