I'm in no way joking when I say that I have a bra size in the middle of the alphabet. Given that the rest of my body, specifically my spine, is not as generously sized, certain positions have become quite uncomfortable for me. Well, no, most positions have become uncomfortable for me, since they're a choice between suffocating or holding up forty awkwardly placed pounds.
I didn't think that until I ordered this strap that there was a way to take the pressure off of my poor back. The strap is very comfortable to use; it's generously sized, fuzzy and soft on the inner side and satiny on the outer side and hand straps. It's wide enough for someone with wide hips, and won't stick to skin or get in the way.
It's got some sort of soft foam for padding in the middle, so it's even sturdier than it looks and won't fold over and dump you onto the floor.
How does it work? Well, without going into graphic detail, you'll need to practice for a minute and communicate effectively in order to get the angle just right. When you do, though, it works perfectly. My back is, among other parts, very grateful.
