A cool hoodie for cool weather.

I ordered this Timberland Hooded Sweatshirt in a medium, asked my teenage son to wear it and give me his honest assessment. In a word or maybe three, HE LOVES IT and it has quickly become one of his favorites. He loves the look. It is stylish…olive or army green with orange and white accents. He said that it is extremely comfortable. He likes the fact that it is thick and made from a heavy fleece blend material. He uses it for wrestling practice and wears it to school because they keep the air on high. In his opinion it runs a little big…while he usually wears a medium, the Timberland one fits a little big. As a parent who buys clothes for two growing teenage boys, this is good because it gives him room to grow. He loves the cell phone pocket hidden in the larger pocket in the front. He uses it for his cell phone OR his iPod when he is working out. He has even used it to keep his keys when he is walking, jogging and biking. When I asked would he spend his allowance ($60) for this hoodie, he said without hesitation “yes because it is a good quality hoodie by Timberland”. He gives it 5 stars.

Winter is coming...

I got this hoodie because it looked cool. I'm a sucker for that shade of green, so it seemed like a good fit. Sadly, Amazon only offered me the XL (extra large) size. When it arrived I tried it on and it was way too large. Thankfully, after it was washed it had a much better fit. It was still somewhat large for me, but it was much better than before.

One thing I found about this hoodie is that it's very warm, so it would be perfect to wear during winter or when it's extra cold outside. I myself tried to wear it at home (it seems a bit big to wear outside at this point) and found that I got hot very quickly, even if it was cold in the house. There's a pouch for your cellphone in the front pocket, which I don't see myself using, but I guess it's a nice feature if you care about that kind of thing.

Overall, I liked it. I wished that Amazon would have offered me the large size, but other than that it was pretty good. I'm definitely going to be wearing it a lot during wintertime.

Soft, Comfortable, Special Pocket for Phone

It is not quite sweatshirt weather yet in Virginia (mid-September as I write). Although my husband had doubts the XL would fit him since he is an L, I thought it's sweatshirts, best to go bigger, and it is roomy but comfortable and by no definition too big. I would order a size up unless you normally do not wear anything under a sweatshirt. He likes the special pocket for a cell phone in the front pouch, but didn't care for the big brand letters on the sleeve. He said it felt very soft inside.

Plenty of room, warm, and well made

I received the XXL sized hoodie. I was looking for something warm and comfortable. The fabric is heavy, soft sweatshirt material. The garment has a solid feel that promises long wear even under hard use. I am 6' 2" tall and most sweatshirts are a bit shorter than I like. This one is plenty long! It is also nice and roomy so I can wear a shirt underneath. There is a handy, velcro-closure cell phone pocket as well. If you are a tall, big guy like me, you will love this item.
