The rods look great up. The balls on the ends look very much like real marble but are not heavy. The rods are thick and durable feeling. There is plenty of space between the front decorative rod and the back rod to hand sheers on the back rod and still be able to move the drapes open and closed on the front rod. The wall brackets were heavy duty enough to hang them without worry. There was no problem getting this up.

The larger rod has a piece of metal that goes inside it to support the two halves that make it go to 144".

We have long windows so need to extend these to about 120 inches. There are definitely thicker, heavier duty rods out there but I really don't want to pay $100 plus dollars for curtains rods for each window. With the center support, these are very strong and have no bend whatsoever. The end pieces look like marble and I'm very happy with these, especially for the price. Have bought 3 sets so far and no problems whatsoever with any of them.
