I have mixed feedback. Not sure of the origin of "quirky" behavior - the trainer, the app, or the communication between the two. At times I can calibrate the resistance the first time. Other times, it is a manic whirlwind of restarting the trainer multiple times, restarting the the iPad, and clucking like a chicken, all in random order.

It does make indoor training more realistic and interesting when it all works, although a 4% incline feels like I'm dragging a well fed stubborn mule behind me. I've got much steeper grades of climbing in and out of my neighborhood that feel far less challenging.

The set-up instructions are dreadful and online documentation is lacking. I thought it was very user-friendly, or anticipatory of impending problems, that a separate Tacx business card with an email to use for technical support was included. I wrote to them regarding some problem or other - there have been several and received absolutely no response. For this reason, the inconsistencies, and the inflated price, I would never buy this again. I'm not sure if it is ready for prime time. Any reputable company would provide actual support especially for such a costly product.
