I have written a review on a product only twice in my life when warranted.

This is the second review.

While I don't necessarily agree with the colour of this product, I am fond with everything else it has to offer. As a water polo player in the winter, and a track athlete in the spring, the transition over from a rigorous aquatics workout (low impact), to an equally rigorous track work out (high impact), I find myself experiencing shin splints from the rapid change in routine. Desperate to still be able to run, I hastily grabbed these from a CVS, the subtext "Shin splints" jumping out at me, and easily installed them into my running shoes. The next day, as practice began, I duly noted a throbbing in my legs as opposed to the severe pain I had been experiencing in the days prior. But, as I ran, the pain was hardly noticeable, and hastily retreated during my recovery periods. Nearing the end of practice, with the workouts becoming dull and technique focused, I found that my shins had little to no pain at all to offer. Upon departure from practice and returning to my household, I found that I did not need to ice my legs -at all-. All in all, this is an extreme, high-quality product that I definitely recommend. Fair warning, however: once you use these, you may never want to go without them again ^.~.

I had to stop and take these out of my shoes halfway through my run because because they were so painful. I will have to go back to the unknown brand I've bought before.
