Description: Rhodium Plated Sterling silver bracelet with a "stylized/contemporary" star fish; doubled very delicate chain. Note that this chain is small in diameter - if you have a large wrist, it may fit tight, though that may not be a bad thing with this design. The image Amazon provides is accurate.
Positive Comments: This is a sweet little bracelet. And very delicate. The chain links are quite tiny--doubled not only for reinforcement but for the look of it, which I do happen to like. It's light on the wrist. The starfish is a contemporary "stylized" design; very whimsical. I like the rhodium plated sterling silver - it's a shinier metal coating and protects it. And the price is very reasonable at about $20 (at this posting).
Problems: Not any really, but--It took a lot of doing for me to fasten this on my wrist as the chain kept slipping off my wrist since the chain is so fine and delicate and the starfish is heavier. That heavier starfish design on the delicate chain also sometimes causes the starfish to turn around to the other side- not the end of the world but it is a problem if the bracelet is not tight on your wrists--I have small wrists, so it slid about.
I think this would be a cute sweet bracelet for a teenager or young girl. It may be a little young for me but I still enjoy the whimsical aspects of it. So adults can easily wear this as well as a younger person.
Rhodium plated sterling silver: I'd not heard of "rhodium" so had to look it up--do google it, for it's interesting and gives a better idea of what this Amazon Collection jewelry is about. For example, rhodium can be a more expensive metal. It is used to coat sterling silver to give it a more "white gold" appearance, and to protect the silver against tarnishing. There's more; google it!
