    We don't generally heat our house (it's pretty useless when it's old, concrete block with NO insulation at all. We're in Southern Arizona, so that's not a terrible thing (though we have to run water though our faucets on nights with hard freezes). But, often the house is in the lower 50s and the bathroom in the mid 40s in the morning. We also like to camp, last month, it was 19F for 2 nights in the tent so I slept with a hat, a shrug, the fingerless hand/arm warmers,mittens, wool socks along with 2-3 layers, including wool top and tights. I like to sleep with my arms out of the covers, on top of reading several hours nightly with my arms exposed (on my Kindle, of course), so I have multiple pairs of different fingerless arm warmers. I've bought several different brands, and aside from some I bought at the Japanese dollar store in San Francisco (what should I have expected? But I still use them), every brand of these fingerless arm warmers have stood up to frequent use and washing. No shredding, no tearing. I run then all through regular wash cycles, no dryer and they are all as good as new. But, I am very careful putting them on and off, so likely that is the secret to their survival with hard use.

    These are very stylish and go with everything. Between my daughter and myself these fingerless arm warmers are worn everyday. I should have bought 5 in this color alone!
