Love It With One Exception

Just got it so I'm not reviewing it based on having worn it for a long time. Having said that, I absolutely love this bra. My breasts fit comfortably in it and the cups scoop my entire breasts so I feel secure. The bra touches the skin between my breasts, like it should. Didn't give it 5 stars because I ordered the right size based on my measurements, but the band is too small so I had to get band extenders. Beside that, the bra looks beautiful and the fabric doesn't itch.

Freya makes great bras and they have great support. This bra is sort of their "prototype" for a lot if their other bras in that they follow the wing style which provides a lot of support. I only wish I hadn't gotten a balcony. Doesn't support me quite the right way as I need the 3-point support. Durand change that this is a beautiful bra with great support and is very well made. If I changed anything it would be the hardware. It tends to tarnish.

Underwire much bigger than normal with extremely full cup

The under-wire on this bra comes out much farther on either side of the ribs than any other Freya lace bra I've bought (I have 5). Probably a full inch more. The cups are also come down further, expecting a fuller chest possibly, than all other Freya lace bras that I have. The middle part of the bra that touches the sternum comes up a good half inch further than other bras as does the actual fabric of the bra itself. This is a bit inconvenient because the bra fabric shows when worn with tank tops, even ones that are not too low. I have had to fold in the fabric so it doesn't show and cut off the little fake-metal piece in the front because that can be seen through shirts. It is also a bit loose near the top if you aren't extremely full-chested, a bit more than normal with Freya lace bras. I normally have to take in the top alittle, but this one was a bit much. This bra is definitely not as nice as I had hoped it would be, but it is better than paying $70 for another one.
For those of you wondering, the bra is 100% see through mesh that reminds me of a swim suit. This is what I expected so I'm fine with that. It's cute. I am a 30G if you are wondering the size.

Great bra. They've had this style for several years, and I can see why. I was very glad to be able to get another one. 3-part cup is great for a larger bust. So nice to find a company that makes cups over DD for a 32 band. I recommend this to anyone. Well made, great quality and a good fit. Very comfortable, too.

I noticed that others out that this bra would be sexy and see through but I didn't realize quite what that meant. Made of a netted fabric. Reminds me of a kind of sports fabric. It's comfortable and it fits great! I don't mind the fabric so much and it's sexy :)

Cup size runs a bit large

The style of this bra is very pretty but the cup sizing is slightly larger than expected (band size was perfect). The fabric is a bit scratchy but I'd bet after washing would become softer. I returned this item due to sizing and return was easy.

This is one of my few Freya disappointments. I might try it in another size sometime to see if it improves the fit, but the Rio did not fit me the same way other Freya balcony bras have in the past. Maybe I got a defective product. Typically, their balcony/balconette styles are the best. Worth checking out if you like that style in general.

I've learned that I have to order a size down when shopping Freya Balcony bra's but this cut and style is a big winner in my book. The green is bright though-so while it looks fantastic against my pale skin, I can't wear it as often as I'd like because the color seeps through even when I'm wearing black shirts.
It is VERY comfortable though and as a result, I purchased the tan and the white one so I could wear it more often.
